If you’re new around here you wouldn’t know that I have two big dogs. Myla is almost 9 years old and Charlotte is just over a year old.

While Myla and Charlotte are both Pit Bulls they couldn’t have more different personalities if they tried.

Myla is the epitome of the perfect dog. Loving, snuggly, loyal, protective, tolerant, well-behaved… she’s let my daughter dress her up for their entire lives (I’ll include my favorite pic of Myla dressed as Snow White below). Myla doesn’t even have accidents! I’ll spare you the details but let’s just say when she gets sick she wakes us up to go outside and not a drop of anything is ever left on the floor.

Charlotte is the most fun-loving, zero-effs given dog that you’ll ever meet. She’s hysterical and incredibly smart. She can jump up higher than my husband (who is almost 6 foot). She’s made Myla more active and I swear look and act younger. It’s incredible the difference that she’s made in our home overall. She is also extremely loyal, cuddly and protective. She also doesn’t mind dressing up, but not to the extent that Myla does.

Both dogs love to run around and play, but Charlotte LOVES toys. Myla likes tennis balls and she’s particular. Like, they have to be the name brand pro ones that are neon yellow or she won’t touch them. Other than that, just bring on the treats.

The problem with toys is that both of my dogs will destroy the usual, run-of-the-mill dog toys (or people toys) in a heartbeat. Blink, they’re gone. Clean up takes longer than the fun.

The problem with treats is that because of Myla’s allergies (did I mention she’s high maintenance AF?!) everything needs to be grain free.

Because of these reasons it’s near impossible to find toys that they can keep long-term and treats that they both can enjoy.

In the January 2019 Bullymake Box the girls got 2 toys and 3 treats.

The Treats ($8 – $9). My dogs received Shrimp Bites, Salmon & Blueberry Grain-Free and Quacksticks. Predictably, Charlotte loved all three whereas Myla was only into the Quacksticks. We haven’t met one thing that Charlotte won’t eat but Myla has always been just as particular about her food as she is with her toys. I’d call it a success that she even likes the Quacksticks!

The Hammer ($18.00). This hammer was, of course, a love of Charlotte. She took right to it by carrying it around the house and gnawing away. She luckily wasn’t able to rip it apart but the teeth marks she made ended up feeling a little jagged, so we had to file those down to make sure she didn’t hurt herself.

The Wirenut ($18.00). Yet another love of Charlottes! I thought Myla might be into it because you can put food inside but she was having none of that. Charlotte had a heck of a time getting the treat out but TBH if doesn’t matter if anything is in there or not – she’s playing with it. This material has certainly stood up to her power-chewing and is standing the test of time as well.

final thoughts

I LOVE the variety that comes in this box and the fact that there are enough products sent that suit both of my dogs needs. We’ve had this box in our home for a few weeks now to test everything and while the Hammer was short-lived the Wirenut has proved to be indestructible.
