If you get ONE eyeshadow palette this year… if you only put ONE palette on your holiday wishlist…. it needs to be the Natasha Denona Gold Eyeshadow Palette.
what is it
The Natasha Denona Gold Eyeshadow Palette is called “a palette featuring 15 brand new eyeshadow shades in the classic, signature Natasha Denona formulas, including matte, metallic, sparkling and duo-chrome shades”.
You will get 15 x 0.08 oz/ 2.5 g eye shadows in Lime Chrome (yellow green metallic), Python (light medium green creamy powder), Sparks (pearl glitter), Aria (vintage coral matte), Cava (sheer champagne glitter), Aurora (blue emerald glitter), Dijon (mustard matte), Oro (gold metallic), Log (deep brown matte), Varis (bronze metallic), Brass (bronze-gold-green duo chrome), Sandstone (light terracotta matte), Alchemist (rose gold metallic), Teak (vintage terracotta matte), and Aurum (dusty gold metallic).
review
I loved the Natasha Denona Camel Eyeshadow Palette. This eyeshadow palette basically could leave that one in the dust. While Camel is the more “affordable” (yes, I use that term loosely) of the two the Natasha Denona Gold Eyeshadow Palette has everything you need to get a work-safe, neutral eye look or an amped up party-time, New Years Eve look.
There isn’t one shadow in this entire palette that I don’t like. While some need to be used a little differently to get the effect you’ll desire it’s not hard to work with at all and those mattes apply and blend like you’re in a dream.
Use shades like Lime Chrome, Sparks, Cava, Aurora and Brass by PRESSING (not swiping) onto your eye with your finger. As much as I loathe using my finger to apply shadows (because we’re not cavemen) the effect that is given when you use that method with these shades is breathtaking. Using a damp brush didn’t give the effect I wanted but the finger method did.
These shadows lasted all day long when worn over an eye primer.
Do you need it? If you love golden neutrals and sultry teals…. absolutely splurge on this for the holidays. Like, this SHOULD BE your holiday wish list must-have. You guys remember how much I loved the Natasha Denona Lila Eyeshadow Palette? I keep going back and forth but this may actually beat that one for me!

The Natasha Denona Gold Eyeshadow Palette is swatched below dry and on bare skin (no primers) using a finger. I also swatched it in this video.

Here are three looks using the Natasha Denona Gold Eyeshadow Palette. I had a moment with look 3 and it went from being a semi-neutral mustard look to a completely smokey golden teal that I’m obsessed with. A lot of layers that probably weren’t necessary but I like where it ended up lmao.
