In last year’s holiday card post I talked about finally biting the bullet and ordering my cards from Minted. After years of drooling over everyone else’s cards it was time to be an adult and graduate up to some good ones of my own. After all, these are part of our Christmas memories!
For this years holiday card I knew in advance that I wanted a full picture card with minimal writing. My sister-in-law got married and we were able to get some really beautiful photos of the kids in several scenic locations. At the end of the day, due to the print on my daughter’s dress, a minimal background looked best with such a large photo.

Because the card was basically just a full photo I wanted to amp up the font. My always extra AF heart is LOVING that this year they have a holographic looking glitter font. It’s literally like they were in my head this year for cards.
This design is called Timeless Foil-Pressed Holiday and the color is Navy with Glittery Silver Foil.

On the back we chose a smaller family photo because it was taken with a cell phone, so the quality was lower. It was a great way to give a more personalized look to our card.
If you remember last year we ordered Minted Foil-Press Holiday Ornament Cards which I used as gift tags on presents. These went over so well. It’s not something that is generally done gift tag wise but everyone loved it because it was a personal touch as well as an extra memento that someone can enjoy over and over again on their tree.
