It’s evident that NARS knows how to make us drool. We’ve seen the artistry involved with the Andy Warhol collection, as well as the inspirations behind all of the seasonal launches. Now, in celebration of Fashion’s Night Out 2012, two new additions join the 413 Blkr line – a Velvet Matte Lip Pencil and a Duo Eyeshadow.

In celebration of Fashion’s Night Out, NARS debuts two new additions to the 413 BLKR collection in the powerfully provocative spirit of Guy Bourdin.

413 Blkr Duo Eyeshadow is described as shimmering amethyst / black with red pearl.
The amethyst side applies well and evenly all over the lid and becomes a smoky muted shade. The black with red pearl side applied well with a firm brush but needed the help of a softer eyeshadow to blend out. It felt a bit dry to swatch but was okay to put on, this one would probably be easier to use wet. The black with red pearl also gave a bit of fall out under the eye.
For this EOTD, I started off using Make Up For Ever Eye Prime as a base. I applied the amethyst side all over the lid and placed the black with red pearl in the crease and outer V. There is also a bit of a mixture of both sides of this duo under the outer part of the lower lash line. I then took the NARS Vent Glacé Duo Eyeshadow and applied the silver smoke side above the crease color to blend and a bit at the inner corners of the eye, and used the platinum shade to highlight. The liner is the NARS 47th Street Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner and the mascara is Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill.
413 Blkr Duo Eyeshadow ($34.00) joins a stunning line of products named for the brand’s West Village flagship boutique.
