It seems like yesterday I was unboxing my March 2019 Boxycharm for you…. oh wait… it was. LOL! At least the April 2019 Boxycharm – Peace, Love & Boxy – arrived pretty quickly & with an awesome retail value!

what is boxycharm

Boxycharm is a monthly beauty subscription box filled with 5-6 luxury items, 4 of which will always be full-sized. The monthly cost of Boxycharm is $21 but if you subscribe for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months you’ll receive a slight discount on the monthly boxes (down to $19.25). Renewals are automatic but you can cancel at any time.

Each Boxycharm box has a minimum value of $100 and you’ll receive anything from makeup to skincare to beauty tools. With some products shades can vary though with other products all boxes will have them included.

To find out how to best use the products received in the monthly box you can check out tutorials and looks shared by the “Charmer” community on social media.

Members are treated to exclusive offers from the best brands in beauty. You’ll also be eligible to win free products through giveaways and receive reward points which are redeemable in the Boxycharm Charm Shop.

PUR Festival Eyeshadow Palette ($36.00). This palette is brand new and crazy amazing. It’s an LE palette filled with 12 eye shadows described as pressed pigments. You’ll get mattes, metallics and glitters that are pigmented, smooth and high-quality.

Luxie The Summer Daze 3pc Brush Set ($28.00). One of the biggest reasons I maintain a regular Boxycharm subscription is to get the brush sets. Luxie is among my favorites to get, particularly when I can use them on the eyes.

This 3pc set was curated to get the perfect festival look. You’ll get the 512 Small Contouring Brush, 245 Small Shader Brush and the 209 Large Shader Brush.

Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder ($27.00). The shade I received is in Purple Dream.

I admit. When I looked at the spoilers they email you I was a little worried about getting this shade. I love Artist Couture but purple anything intimidates me. This one is more of a peachy-pink with a purple undertone (see swatches below) and I actually like the look of it dry more-so than wet!

Appeal Cosmetics Holographic Lip Gloss ($21.00). The shade I received is Trendsetter.

This is a lovely gloss to add shine and a little bit of dimension to your lip color. It’s also perfect to wear alone & I find the formula to be comfortable.

Bodyography Eye Pencil ($14.00). The shade I received is Bali Bronze.

This pencil is really smooth, evenly pigmented and the color I received is gorgeous. I love wearing it with easy looks or alone & smudged out at the upper lash line.

final thoughts

Was the box worth the money? YES!

I LOVE that PUR Eyeshadow Palette & every single item in this box is an item I’ll get use out of & enjoy. 

Overall I’m still loving that this box continues to contain products from highly trending brands as well as products I’ll get use out of.

The retail value of the entire April 2019 Boxycharm? $126.00! This boxes’ retail value is a bit higher than last month’s box and I also think I’ll get more use out of the products included. IMO that retail value is well worth the $21 investment.
