Covergirl Exhibitionist Mascara is the brands latest claim to volume and the price is certainly right… but is it good?
what is it
The Covergirl Exhibitionist Mascara is said to provide “show-stopping volume in just one coat” and warns “caution: may attract more attention than anticipated”.
This mascara uses Covergirl’s newest wire brush which allows the mascara to “glide on smoothly without flaking, smudging or clumping while coating every lash with a deep, dark pigment”.
Four shades are available in 800 Very Black, 805 Black, 810 Black Brown and 825 Very Black Waterproof.
In this review I’ve tested out 800 Very Black.
Did I just find my new favorite drugstore mascara?! The short answer is yes – from the drugstore.
The Covergirl Exhibitionist Mascara did a wonderful job at coating each last evenly while still providing volume, lift and curl. My lashes tend to always criss-cross, but somehow this mascara separated them enough so that they looked full without looking clumpy. No mascara that I’ve tried up until this point has done that.
Upon applying the first coat it felt dry, even though pigment was obviously coating my lashes. The second and third coats did not feel that way. Even on the third coat I had no clumping.
Wear time was all day long and I didn’t experience any flaking onto my cheeks.
Though for a more glam day/night I’d still reach for my IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara I can easily say that this is my new drugstore #1. It’s easy to apply, long-wearing and affordable making it a clear winner.
