How to Celebrate Mother’s Day Every Day + Gift Ideas for Her

Setting the Scene

Even though this is technically a recipe book you can still lose yourself in it.

For When I Actually Want to Read

Rarely do I get any me-time where I can get more than a chapter in, so I like to make sure that when I’m actually taking the time to read a book that I’m reading something I know I’ll enjoy.

Currently I’m finishing up Sunrise on Half Moon Bay by Robyn Carr. You may recognize the author as being the same one from the Netflix series “Virgin River”! This is a feel-good, women’s fiction novel about two sisters far apart in age that need to learn to support and lean on each other. I’m really hoping they make a series out of this one as well, or even a movie!

A Quick, Daily Step

A bit of my me-time that runs over into my daily life has been adding a quick step into my nightly routine. Keeping Time

All good things must come to an end. Unless I’m reading I generally do not take my phone with me during a me-time moment. Because I try not to use my phone more than necessary I need a watch with me.
