Busy does not even begin to describe life these days. I have two kids that are heavily involved in activities plus I work from home (which means most people think I’m available to them at all hours, at any time of the day and night). Life always seems to be in a constant state of chaos but one thing I promised I’d made time for this year is getting my seasonal home decor on point.

Up until now I’ve failed.

Each box comes with a “How-To Booklet” for inspiration, ideas and suggestions. This booklet also shares a style sheet and a closer look at the key pieces inside this months box.

what is inside? 

The Fall Decocrated box contains eight (8) items including one (1) organizational piece, three (3) everyday home décor accents and five (5) interchangeable décor pieces.

The Fall Pillows. Add Fall flair to your family furniture with these harvest throw pillows. One pillow is tribal-inspired while another features succulents popping up out of a pumpkin on one side and a deep purple on the other. Note you’re only getting the pillow covers in this box and you’ll need to have 16″-20″ pillow inserts on hand to slip them over. 

The Letterboard. Get creative this season with a wood flanked letterboard that spells out “FALL”, “HOME”, “LOVE” or “BOO”. The metal letters slide in easily to create fun messages. I do wish that the rest of the alphabet was included, so the only downside you’re limited on what you can spell. 

The Tabletop Sign. This hand-illustrated metal sign spins around for an interchangeable Fall message. One side reminds you to gather while the other welcomes people into your home. 

The Block Art. Perfect for your bookshelf (though mine is now above my sink on the windowsill)! One side has you “thankful” while the other is a ghoul ready “pumpkin sweets, spooks & treats”. 

The Pedestal Tray. An ideal way to display accent items for a centerpiece or feature a favorite home essential. I love that this tray is slightly lifted and is big enough for my counter but not so big that it takes over too much.

The Art Print. This month sends greetings and salutations from a double-sided art print. One side gets you into the Halloween mood with “SPOOKY” and the other side is quintessential Fall vibes and succulent bouquets. 

The Wicker Tray. This tray is handcrafted and woven by skilled artisans making each piece unique. It’s functional and stylish for any type of decor. Easy to dress up or down!

The Metal Flower. The perfect sized metal succulent to set off the style of your gallery wall. It’s tones pair with any color for a beautiful pop of flair.

final thoughts 

I love how curated Decocrated is to seasonal trends. For me, the styling choices in this box are spot on and are items I’d have chosen for myself had I been able to get to the store. They do a great job at making their pieces dual-sided so that you have options, making it so no matter what your personal esthetic is, you’d be able to use what was sent in a beautiful way.

Everything arrived packed very well and I love that the boxes they use as filler say that they’re empty (which is so helpful when you’re unpacking!). Each piece is handcrafted and custom boasting a sophisticated flair. The best part? I can keep the decor up for the ENTIRE season through Thanksgiving simply by flipping a few of the pieces around. I absolutely adore this subscription box and am very excited to see what they have in store for Winter!
