Every year the Winter weather starts out as such a beautiful thing. I love to watch the seasons change. Snow is so beautiful as it softly falls and collects on the ground.
We’re now about at that point in the season where I’m done. Done and totally ready for Spring. So much so that I begin to completely reject everything Winter and throw my life headfirst into Spring trends.
Below are just a few fashion, beauty and home items that I’ve been loving so far.
Some New Reads
There is something about breathing in the fresh Spring air while you’re reading outside. While my kids are on their bikes I’m curled up on the porch with a book I can lose myself in.
I love to read a book with a strong female as the lead character. I got more into this type of theme when I joined a mommy group years and years ago. We’d get together to talk kids but eventually it lead into books and other things. I’ve gotten some great recommendations from those ladies over the years!
The books for strong women pictured above are: 29 Dates by Melissa de la Cruz, The Things We Cannot Say by Kelly Rimmer and The Summer Cottage by Viola Shipman.

New Accessories
Mixing Metals will forever be my thing & I love to amp it up with a trendy but functional watch. I’m especially rough on any item attached to my wrist so when I shop watches I shop for durability as well as wanting “pretty”.
It’s hard to find watches for women that can be everything I’m looking for, but the Casio G-SHOCK S-Series checks all of my boxes. Not only is it water-resistant up to 200m, it’s also shock-resistant and equipped with 4 different alarms, a stopwatch and a countdown timer. Plus…. DID YOU SEE THE ROSE GOLD METALLIC MIRRORED FACE?! It looks so chic with the navy band!
Some New Skincare
Your skin changes with the weather and it’s important to be vigilant in regards to that. My skin is oily but that doesn’t necessarily mean that oils shouldn’t ever play a part in my skincare routine.
Since my skin can be temperamental I tried out the Knours Your Only Cleanser because it’s a clean beauty hybrid cleanser that starts off as an oil and then turns to foam. The oil step removes every trace of makeup while the foam cleanses your skin.
It’s your double-cleanse in one step. We all love a time-saver, right?
A Fruity Beverage
It’s rare I’ll turn down a beverage but when Spring comes around I opt for something citrusy. The ROOT Crafted Artisanal Cocktail Mixer in Lemongrass is my current obsession. This cocktail mixer goes so well with several of my fave vodkas but also tastes amazing mixed with Club Soda.
This along with that Copper Shaker makes for the perfect hostess gift too! Available on Amazon (PRIME = free, fast shipping!).
Some Actual Relaxation
When I relax, I head for the spa! The only way for me to relax is to not be anywhere near my house. Relaxation efforts work against me when I’m in the home because there is just way too much that needs done plus my kids are on a roll with the bickering lately.
An amazing place to go to if you love a Swedish Massage is Hand & Stone. It’s that spa setting you crave at what I like to consider as affordable luxury in pricing. You can also grab a facial and some hair removal services while you’re there!
As an introductory offer they’re offering their Swedish Massage for only $49-$59 (based on location)!
Dressing Up My Feet
This Spring transition thing doesn’t mean I’m ready to bear my toes to the world, but I do love to change it up and wear something more light in color, comfortable & less bulky.
I’m personally loving the Earth Shoes Rosewood Clove style of women’s shoes. They’re easy to slip-on plus crazy comfortable and they go with basically everything casual that I own.
One of the greatest things about Earth Shoes as a brand is that with every purchase made they plant a tree! LOVE.
What are some of the ways you’re transitioning into Spring? What are your favorite products that help with that? Let me know in the comments!
