First, wipe everything you think you know about Clarks out of your head. Ready? These shoes are incredible. I had always heard of the comfort level of Clarks shoes, but never tried them for myself because my grandma wears Clarks. I guess that’s why they say our grandparents are older and wiser, because my grandma clearly knows what she’s doing and I should probably listen to her a lot more. Color me shocked. The designers at Clarks gather inspiration from all over the world, compiling the freshest fashion-forward and classic trends. The brand uses premium materials, innovative technology and utilizes top-notch craftsmanship. Below are two of my favorite styles of Clarks, both of which are comfortable and stylish for a multitude of occasions!
Clarks Town Edge in Dark Grey Leather – read TAUPE. TAUPE booties, y’all!!!! I adore these… wear them with a skirt, jeans… seriously… whatever you want. The buckle gives them a sophistication while the zipper adds some edge. The heel is a bit higher than what I’d normally go for, but I was actually impressed at how steady I was at this height (yay for finally being tall!) and how comfortable the shoes were. No aching arches = love at first wear.
Clarks Dunbar Cruiser in Bronze Snake. Of course, it makes me happy to have a loafer in a snake print. Animal print is like my kryptonite. These shoes have become a staple for me since they landed on my doorstep. I’ve worn them every day for a week, and I’m so impressed with how comfortable they are. I even had them on for an entire day at the mall, which, as you know, can be torturous for your feet. I’ve received compliments daily on this particular style and was impressed that there was no breaking-in period at all, they just fit and immediately felt great. .
Zappos is my choice for shopping shoes online. They are truly awesome in terms of making your life easier when you can’t make it to the store. Every single time I’ve shopped there I’ve found the site easy to navigate with lightning fast shipping that is free both ways. In my experience the customer service is top-notch with a 365-day return policy. I think a lot of people had the same perception as I did on the brand, that it was comfortable but essentially geared towards an older consumer. Not so. Clarks has beautiful styles, are comfortable as all get out and are high quality. You really can’t ask for better. Call (800) 927-7671 or go to Zappos to purchase the shoes shown in this post or other styles of Clarks shoes!
