With the MAC Holiday 2012 Glamour Daze Collection we see the return of a much loved product – the Kohl Power Eye Pencil ($16.50 USD).
All four of the released Kohl Powers are repromotes. I repurchased Mystery because it’s gorgeous and of course I repurchased Orpheus because I use the franks and beans out of it. Every time Orpheus is out I buy at least one, if not two.
What the MAC website has to say about the Glamour Daze Kohl Power Eye Pencil:
A kohl pencil that has all the intensity and colour power of ultra-soft carbon. Specially formulated to provide deep, fully opaque coverage, provides an intense, smoked finish with duo-chrome pearl. Versatile in application: blend or smudge. Limited-edition Glamour Daze packaging. 1.45 g / 0.05 US oz
Orpheus is described as an intense black with gold pearl. It ends up looking like a blackened brown shade with gold laced through. Since it’s original release this shade has been an HG of mine because it’s versatile enough to wear with just about any look.
Mystery is described as an intense black with green pearl. It ends up looking like a blackened forest green shade with a teal sheen. It’s very smoky and very sultry.
The Kohl Powers are soft and smudgeable, but I’ve never had a problem with any of them migrating down my face (other than Feline for some reason). They set and wear better than any kohl liner I’ve ever used.
MAC truly just needs to make the line of Kohl Powers permanent.

Purchase these and other items from the MAC Glamour Daze Collection at your local MAC counter (try Nordstrom) or store, as well as at maccosmetics.com. Both of the items featured in this post are limited edition.
