For June 2012, MAC has collaborated with artist Beth Ditto and released a collection just as passionate as she is.
MAC Beth Ditto is a decent sized collection with products ranging from our favorite Pro Longwear Lipcremes, to an awesome and versatile eye & cheek palette, and a new product – the Shade & Smoke Shadow/Liner.
Also, with this collection, there are four Nail Lacquers – Vagabondage, Near Beth Experience, Nocturnelle, and today’s post of Life and Beth.
What the MAC website has to say about Nail Lacquer:
Revolutionary new high gloss formula. Three long-wearing finishes – Cream, Sheer, and Frosted. Visibly different. Provides no-streak/no-chip finish. Contains conditioners and UV protection. Go hi-lacquer!
10 ml / 0.34 US fl oz
Life and Beth is described as a milky peach and has a cream finish. This one paints on a little weird. It doesn’t have the best formula, but you can work with it. I’ve found three thick coats (like in the photo above) cover the best. If you go for thin or normal coats it’s going to be patchy or streaky. It’s also good to use an excellent base. I personally love to use Butter London Nail Foundation.
For more information on this collection, please see the Official Press Release as well as the Q & A with Beth Ditto.
MAC Nail Lacquer retails for $16.00 and can be purchased at your local MAC counter or store, as well as at maccosmetics.com. Life and Beth is listed as limited edition.
