I’ve long been a fan of Physician’s Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer but have never actually taken the plunge to try Physician’s Formula Murumuru Butter Blushes until now.
After trying them out I’m embarrassed that I waited so long.
what is it
Besides being insanely beautiful to look at and to sniff (seriously) Physician’s Formula Murumuru Butter Blush is touted as
An ultra-luxurious formula, infused with Murumuru Butter, Cupuacu Butter and Tucuma Butter, from the lush and nutrient-rich Amazon. Ultra-refined pearl and soft-focus pigments that smooth skin texture, brighten skin tone, and deliver a gorgeous blushing glow. Incredibly soft and ultra-creamy texture combines the best features of a powder and cream blush.
It is also hypoallergenic, paraben free, cruelty free, oil-free, gluten free and dermatologist tested.
There is also an included applicator and a mirror under side of the powder compact.
review
I’ve tried all four of these Physician’s Formula Murumuru Butter Blushes and can tell you that each one is just as they describe above – super soft, brightening… they really do feel creamy while still being a powder formula.
The pigment in each will shock you, because it doesn’t seem like it will emit as much color as it does when you apply to your cheeks. Even when I tap off the excess I’ve found that I need to diffuse them a bit with powder. If you use a light hand it’s easier to build things up but for me, since I have a light skin tone, the darker shades such as Saucy Mauve and Copper Cabana are intense no matter what.
On a light skin tone Rosy Pink and Beachy Peach are easier to use without having to mess around too much and are easier for me to build up. Each one of these shades looks gorgeous on even when I was wary of the shade after swatching.
My biggest con on these blushes is in the packaging. It’s beautiful but it’s thick. I personally think the mirror & applicator are unnecessary and getting rid of those would slim down the compact making it easier to store. I’m sure there are many people out there that prefer having a mirror and that love the applicator but I’m just not one of them.
Before closing out I need to talk about Rosy Pink for a minute. Before Physician’s Formula sent me the other two shades I had just purchased Rosy Pink on my own from ULTA Beauty.
I swatched all of the products I had gotten from the brand and purchased myself in a video and was disappointed that Rosy Pink appeared very pale and chalky. It looked that way in everyone’s online swatches but on the face it appeared to be beautiful on all who used it. Because of this I decided to try it on my face and I AM SO GLAD I DID. It’s completely stunning on and the color seemed to morph into my perfect cheek color (similar to the way Dior Addict Lip Glow does on your lips).
No matter what my thoughts were on the swatches these shades just work for me, and I love that. I’d recommend every single one of them to all of you and ask that instead of just swatching and deciding you try them on your cheeks before coming to a conclusion.

I have the Rosy Pink and agree it’s a great formula and color. If I pan anything else in my collection I will replace with another of these- I find them to be long lasting and stay vibrant.

I agree! I hope they come out with more and more shades. Definitely will be a staple in my collection also.
