What has been going on this year with eyeshadow palettes?! It seems like so many have been released and in my experience with them they’ve all been so good! The recently released Colourpop x Karrueche Eyeshadow Palette is probably one of my favorites… and it was only $12!

what is it

This Colourpop collab is with Karrueche Tran who is known for being an actress/model - it is the THIRD time the duo have released not only a collection, but a beautiful one.

The Colourpop x Karrueche Collection features a 9-pan Pressed Powder Shadow Palette, 4 Creme Lux Lipsticks, 3 Creme Gel Colors and 2 Ultra Glossy Lips. This post will focus only on the eyeshadow palette.

Nine shades are included in the Brown Sugar palette in: Chai (matte soft yellow beige), Jamocha (matte mid-tone yellow brown), Amber (matte muted rust orange), Ginger (metallic golden peach), Auburn (metallic warm bronze), Sauté (metallic icy brown with a green and gold duochrome sheen), Sorrel (matte deep cool brown), Henna (matte charcoal brown) and Choc (matte reddish brown).

I’ve already been blasting all over social media and in this YouTube video how much I’m obsessed with the Colourpop x Karrueche Brown Sugar Eyeshadow Palette.

Swatches and photos are for sure beautiful, but nothing does this palette justice like seeing it and using it in person.

The mattes are INCREDIBLE across the board, I have nothing bad to say about any of them. The metallics are best when applied with a damp, firm brush - particularly Sauté…. but my, LORD is it beautiful.

When worn over primer the eye shadows in this palette lasted all day long without fading or creasing. It’s a new must-have, go-to holy grail and HOLY CRAP it’s only $12!

Don’t miss out on this one. If you pass on it, it’ll be a beauty regret for sure.
