China Glaze Electric Nights Neon Collection Nail Polish Swatches + Review

May 6, 2015

Press Sample

Neon colors can never be loud enough! NEON ALL THE NEON! The China Glaze Electric Nights Neon Collection is full of bold, in your face type of neons and three glitters to make them even more 80’s and festive!

All of the swatches are done below using Cult Nails Get it On Perfecting Base Coat and Megan Miller Rock Solid Top Coat. The photos are taken indoors under daylight bulbs with no flash. Of all of the photos I take I choose the ones that are the most clear and closest to the nail polish color in real life, but neons are extremely hard to photograph so a few of the colors (I’ll note which ones in the descriptions) aren’t as spot on as I’d like.

Daisy Know My Name? is described as a hi-light yellow crème. The formula was thin and even after three coats there is still some visible nail line. However I love the in-your-face yellow of this shade - it’s truly the color of a yellow highlighter! *The shade here is a little off, but not too bad. It’s more on point than how it is below with the glitter.

China Glaze Daisy Know My Name Nail Polish Swatches

Let the Beat Drop is described as a hot orange and pink matte multi-size glitter. One coat shown over Daisy Know My Name?.

UV Meant to Be is described as a tranquil baby blue crème. Two coats. A bit deeper IRL.

Point Me to the Party is described as a neon green, orange, pink and blue matte multi-size glitter. One coat shown over UV Meant to Be.

Treble Maker is described as a glowing green crème. Two coats. *This one is a little deeper IRL.

Violet-Vibes is described as an ultra-violet purple crème. Two coats.

Plur-Ple is decribed as a vibrant blue-purple crème. Two coats.

Glow with the Flow is described as an ultra bright baby pink crème. Two coats, a bit more saturated IRL.

Can I Get An Untz Untz is described as a cool neon blue and green matte multi-size glitter. One coat shown over Glow With the Flow.

Red-y to Rave is described as an unstoppable neon red crème. Two coats and I want it to live on my feet all Summer long.

Home Sweet House Music is described as a neon orange crème. Two coats.

DJ Blue My Mind is described as a vivid blue crème. Two coats. Note… this one stains a bit.

My fave colors are Red-y to Rave, Daisy Know My Name, Treble Maker, Glow With the Flow and Home Sweet House Music. What are yours?

What a fabulous summer collection! I don’t usually like bright yellow, but with the Let the Beat Go On topper, I adore that look. It’s actually my favorite. And those jellies….
