Question of the Week: Do you use micellar water? If so, when and how often do you use it? I’d never been the type of person that was into the whole micellar water craze when it launched. Obviously, as a blogger, I was curious. Last year Bioderma sent me their Sensibio H2O and I tried it immediately. I was really impressed with how well it removed my makeup and found that it was easier for the cleanser to to it’s job. In turn, clearing up my skin.
Because I was now “micellar water obsessed” I went out and bought one from the drugstore (Simple Micellar Cleansing Water) and then received a sample of another in my Beautycon Winter Box (Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water). Comparatively, they don’t hold a candle to Bioderma. I still had foundation left on my skin when using the two from the drugstore, you could see it when I wrung out my washcloth. With the Bioderma – nothing. In terms of skincare I think if it works, it’s worth the extra money. Now, I use Bioderma every single day (though to get through the other two bottles I’m using them on the lighter makeup days).

EauMG – I sooo don’t get the point of Valentine’s Day but I will embrace any day that gives me an excuse to smell like roses and burn fancy candles. If you want an excuse to spoil yourself, check out my Valentine’s Day Gift Guide.
