Why is it that everyone loves a good villain…. especially when it comes to Disney? The Colourpop Disney Villains Makeup Collection released in March 2019 paying homage to some of our most favorite characters of evil.
In this post I’ll be highlighting the Colourpop Misunderstood Eyeshadow Palette and the Ursula Collection Set.

Misunderstood Pressed Powder Shadow Palette ($22.00). This limited edition pressed eyeshadow palette holds 15 shades in:
No Spots (matte pure white), Mongrels (metallic pinky ivory), Diablo (metallic lime), Devious (matte terracotta), Tragic (matte soft warm beige), Underworld (metallic bronzey copper), Pain & Panic (metallic mid-tone gold with peachy pink flecks), Forest of Thorns (metallic orchid), Flotsam (metallic baby pink with blue glitter), The Fates (matte deep blue), Revenge (matte charcoal grey with silver glitter), Sing (metallic dark brown with hot pink to gold duochrome flip), Jetsam (metallic denim blue with teal duochrome flip), Facile (metallic rich olive green with gold flecks), and 101 (matte black).
The packaging features all of the villains that comprise the overall collection in a fun and colorful collage. I think the overall design did a good job at catering to all ages and will make the Disney lover in us all giddy.
The interior features the 15 eyeshadow shades in various finishes (duochrome, metallic and matte) in a holo setting. While there isn’t a mirror opposite the shadows there is some fun, shiny black “evil” clip art set on a matte black background. The packaging itself is a sturdy cardboard.
As for the overall performance of the palette I absolutely love it and find it inspiring for when I’m in the mood to create a really fun and intense eye look. Even the most neutral of looks is anything but boring!
You can check out the eye look at the bottom of this post. If you’re having a hard time trying to figure out how to pair these shades I urge you to check out their hashtag on Instagram.
