what is boxycharm
Boxycharm is a monthly beauty subscription box filled with 5-6 luxury items, 4 of which will always be full-sized. The monthly cost of Boxycharm is $21 but if you subscribe for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months you’ll receive a slight discount on the monthly boxes (up to $19.25). Renewals are automatic but you can cancel at any time.
Each Boxycharm box has a minimum value of $100 and you’ll receive anything from makeup to skincare to beauty tools. With some products shades can vary though with other products all boxes will have them included.
To find out how to best use the products received in the monthly box you can check out tutorials and looks shared by the “Charmer” community on social media.

IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara ($24.00). If you’ve been around you know this is my FAVORITE mascara of all time. I demonstrated it on this video and also wrote a review here when it first launched. It really does give my thickest and most defined lashes EVER.

Dermovia Lace A Peel Black Bamboo Charcoal Peel Off Mask ($30.00). This mask is said to be detoxifying and offer “spa-like extraction results”. It contains an alcohol in the ingredients and any alcohol on my face will make me break out. Unfortunately this means I can try it but fortunately it’ll be in a future giveaway for you!

Dermovia Lace A Peel Mask Review – Boxycharm October 2018
PUR Midnight Masquerade Palette ($38.00). This is a 10 piece, limited edition face palette for eyes and cheeks. You’ll get 6 eyeshadows and 4 cheek products.
These shades are said to be “highly pigmented and buildable shades that blend effortlessly”. I love the shades in the palette and find them all to look lovely, though not as deeply saturated as I’d imagined. That golden olive is especially gorgeous!

PUR Midnight Masquerade Eyeshadow Cheek Palette Review – Boxycharm October 2018 Unboxing
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick ($20.00). I received the shade Mother. This liquid lipstick is said to be “smooth, creamy, lightweight” plus “stay on all day long”.
Like I said in the video I’m hit or miss with the KVD Liquid Lipsticks. Some wear like iron and others are off as soon as I eat or drink. Mother landed in the middle. I loved the shade more than I thought, though, and I will definitely wear it again.

Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Balm Review – Boxycharm October 2018 Unboxing
Farmacy Beauty Green Clean ($22.00). This cult-favorite makeup cleansing balm is said to “melt away even the boldest of makeup looks” while still being “ultra-nourishing on your skin, leaving it hydrated and smooth”.
This smells AMAZING. It’s considered to be the “mini size” at 1.7 oz. The full size retails for $34.00 for 3.2 oz.

Was the box worth the money? Heavy YES!
That IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara is an item that I repurchase constantly… that alone is worth more than the price of this ENTIRE BOX. The KVD ended up being a win as did the Farmacy and I’m digging on that PUR palette. You can still buy this box here (HURRY, supplies are limited).
All of the products listed above are FULL SIZE (except where noted).
For reference – my box is VERSION 1. On my scale here at home the weight is coming up as 13.2 oz however my tracking info states that the shipment is 0.2200 lb. I went ahead and put the formula into the internet and 13.2oz SHOULD translate into 0.825 lb. IME when I get packages the weight is never accurate in the shipping details but I did have some questions on my video regarding the weight so hopefully this will help you figure out what version is arriving!
The retail value of the entire October 2018 Boxycharm? $134.00! This was a higher retail value than last month’s box but even if it wasn’t I still deem it very much worth the $21 investment. Obviously.
