It doesn’t matter if you’re in high school, in your mid-30’s or pushing 60… you need a fantastic concealer in your life. From the sound of it, First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Bendy Avocado Concealer promises to be that concealer that is not only full-coverage and buildable but that also provides a natural, luminous finish.
what is it
The First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Bendy Avocado Concealer is touted as being “a flexible, second-skin concealer that provides buildable, weightless coverage with superfood avocado to help hydrate and nourish the skin”.
It’s currently available in 7 shades and perfect for all skin types, even sensitive.
Hello FAB Bendy Avocado Concealer
Since the moment I first tried First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Bendy Avocado Concealer I was in love.
On the day it arrived I was about to head out the door to coach cheer practice and I needed a quick, yet full coverage concealment to hide dark circles, acne scars… all the things. I grabbed this, used it not as directed by swiping it all over my face, blended and ran out the door.
Through a sweaty, humid day it stayed on pretty darn well, and I didn’t even set it.
I’ve used this concealer almost daily in the last few weeks and have found that I love the full yet natural effect coupled with the fact that I don’t experience any creasing or fading. It’s an extra-special bonus that the ingredients include amazing skincare benefits such as avocado oils, vitamin E, caffeine… things that hydrate, decrease puffiness, soothe and so much more.
The shade selection is pretty bleak. It runs from Fair to Deep but IMO it halts more at the darker edge of tan. The formula is fantastic and the benefits are insane. I really hope they’ll make more shades of this across the board but especially to represent deeper skin tones.
Check out Kevin James Bennett’s video on the Sephora website which talks more about this product and the skincare benefits. He also gives a great application tip by saying just three dots under the eye and pat that in with your ring finger. Flawless.Every.Time.
Hello FAB Kona Eye Stick
Another new product from First Aid Beauty that I feel deserves a major mention is the Hello FAB Kona Eye Stick.
As I myself am pushing the limits of being 30 I’ve found that while I remain oily my eye area is starting to become dry (yet still oily enough to crease like no other… thanks, life). For the better part of the past year I’ve been on the hunt for something that would nourish my eyelids without irritating my sensitive eyes. That product is the Hello FAB Kona Eye Stick.
It’s a 3-in-1 eye treatment where one of those 3 is a primer. I do find with a heavier eye look I need to pop on a secondary primer to keep products from creasing, but the benefits make it work it and 9 times out of 10 I have a secondary primer on anyway (to cover those veins on my eye lids… hello again, aging).
Cooling, soothing, hydrating, de-puffing, primer…. yes, thanks, to all of those.
Each shade of First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Bendy Avocado Concealer is swatched below on bare skin (no primers):
