We’ve seen drugstores release monthly beauty subscription boxes that feature the brands they carry, so why shouldn’t department stores and other retailers follow suit?
It only makes sense that these companies would want to feature hot, new and trendy products that are cult faves or have been recently released. What better way to get those products out there and get people shopping than by sending out deluxe and sample sizes are a MAJOR discount?
In this post I’m featuring the Macy’s Beauty Box, which I didn’t even know existed until recently (I’m completely embarrassed).
We don’t hear much about the Macy’s Beauty Box but I’ve done some research into the past few months of boxes and I think it’s a fantastic way to try high-end beauty brands carried by Macy’s, especially since they’re products you’ll actually be into.
In the Macy’s Beauty Box shown here (which was the May 2018 shipment) there are FIVE deluxe sized products + one bonus in what is probably the most beautiful makeup bag I’ve ever received.
- Tarte Park Ave Princess Amazonian Clay Matte Bronzer
- Benefit Bad Gal Bang! Mascara
- Dermablend Glow Creator Multi-Use Liquid Highlighter
- Nudestix Nudies Glow in Illumi-Naughty
- IT Cosmetics Brow Power Pencil
- Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Garden Eau de Parfum Spray
In addition to all of that you also get a $5 coupon card to use the next time you shop at Macy’s.

Currently you can sign up here to get the September 2018 Macy’s Beauty Box. Shipping is FREE.
Each box is $15 a month but because you’re getting the $5 coupon it makes it comparable to other boxes at $10 a month.
This May box was particularly good because the Benefit Bad Gal Bang! Mascara alone (at this deluxe size) is $12 and the IT Cosmetics Brow Power Pencil (at this deluxe size) is also $12. Both products are fantastic and absolutely worth even getting the full size.
