This is the brands FIRST oil-in-stick lipstick line with shades ranging from nudes to plums. The packaging is a beautiful, pink mirrored plastic squared tube that twists up.
10 shades are available in Berry Blackmail, Chocolate Lust, Taupe Seduction, Magenta Affair, Undressed Pink, Scarlet Flame, Pink Fetish, Spicy Sangria, Spicy Mauve and Baddest Beige.

Every Maybelline Color Sensational Shine Compulsion Lipstick shade truly is super glossy, comfortable and vivid. Even the nudes give that vivid vibe and I don’t think I’ve ever used that adjective for anything with beige in it.
They apply evenly and with little effort. There is no sticky feeling and there’s a pleasant slip when you do press your lips together. Over time I didn’t get any gross pooling of product toward the inner area of the mouth and the shades did fade evenly.
The darker shades are slightly staining which extends the wear time a bit for me. On-the-go when this happens I smooth a clear balm over-top to extend the wear until I can reapply fully. These will not last through eating and drinking. Otherwise I got around 3-4 hours of color.

Be careful with how far you’re twisting these up and how hard you press to your lips. They’re very soft and I had some issue with the top rounded area sloughing off unless I was very careful.
I’m loving the new Maybelline Color Sensational Shine Compulsion Lipstick formula and find it to be completely on trend with the more dewy and “natural” look that everyone is going for.
Though some of these are on the dark side they’ll pair up nicely with your more simple makeup look no matter if it’s for day or night.

Hi, I have really light skin with a yellow warm undertone and I look horrible in any blue based cool shades, I look best in warm shades with yellow tones in them like yellow reds,pinks and peaches,is there any shade in this new Color Sensational Shine Compulsion that is at least a neutral shade,the Pink Fetish looks the closest. I looked at them open in the store but most are blue based and I can’t tell with all of them. If you could answer I really would appreciate it.

Baddest Beige pulls a little yellow toned on me… Undressed Pink a little (my swatches are a little dark, now that I’m looking at them again). I’m not sure with our skin tones if it would be different (I’m neutral and lean either way depending on the product) but at least the nice part is if it looks bad on you then you can always return it!
You’re totally right though, these are primarily blue based. I hope they come out with more. The formula is so nice!
