What makes you blush? For me…. not much, so I paint it on with makeup! For Summer 2018 the new NARS Orgasm Collection is taking the “universally flattering” shade of Orgasm and releasing several brand new products plus adding a limited edition, oversized version of the permanent Orgasm Powder Blush.
Formulated with “new stimulating textures” these new releases are said to “feel so bad it’s good”.
Orgasm Powder Blush ($39.00). Orgasm Powder Blush is described as a peachy-pink with golden shimmer.
The cult fave blush that is beloved around the world! If you’re into picking up this shade in the LE packaging this is one you’ll want to get your hands on. I’m loving the oversized look and pretty embossing of the powder! The formula itself is beautiful and consistent with what I remember of past Orgasms… blushes, that is.
Orgasm Illuminating Loose Powder ($28.00). Orgasm Illuminating Loose Powder is described as a peachy-pink with golden shimmer.
I find the color itself to be completely different from Orgasm Powder Blush and it will be a personal preference whether you’re happy or sad about that. I love the color that the Illuminating Loose Powder gives off and it looks amazing on my skin tone when paired up with bronzer. It’s a blush/highlighter in one for me and is simply that perfect Summer glow.
The major downside for me personally is that when you remove the sticker cover from the sifter this will get everywhere. I had it all over my clothes, my hands, photographing area… it wasn’t a good sight and if you’re paying $28.00 for 0.09oz of product you’ll expect to want to get use out of all of it. In general it’s just messy.
Orgasm Afterglow Lip Balm ($28.00). Orgasm Afterglow Lip Balm is described as a peachy-pink with golden shimmer.
This balm feels amazing on and when worn takes your lips to a whole other level. It’s mostly sheer with that slight tint of pink that allows your pout to look a little plumper without it being overkill. I love that I can pop this on without a mirror and instantly my lips feel revived.
One downside that some may not like is that if you press your lips together you can feel the slight micro-glitters. Personally it doesn’t bother me and I don’t find them to be visually noticeable but it’s worth mentioning since it’s a question I’m often asked about products like this. The more I applied the balm the less noticeable the glitters were so I think after 2-3 uses you’ll likely not notice it either. It’s similar to how blushes sometimes have a shimmery overspray and after you use it that shimmer is gone.
