Not all neutral eye shadow palettes are created equal. Some are just better than the rest and that’s okay because it totally keeps brands on their toes. The Too Faced Natural Eyes Eyeshadow Palette ($38.00) is one of my new favorites for grab-and-go. An awesome palette to create an easy look with that can go from day-to-night. Keep reading to find out why!
what is it
The Too Faced Natural Eyes Eyeshadow Palette is the best selling collection of 9 matte, satin and shimmer shadows. This palette was created with Too Faced’s exclusive coconut-butter-infused formula for “creamier, more comfortable wear”.
The 9 eye shadow shades included in this palette are Heaven (matte cream), Silk Teddy (peach champagne), Strip Poker (matte beige), Cashmere Bunny (matte taupe), Sexpresso (matte deep brown), Push-Up (light bronze pearl), Erotica (gilded charcoal), Honey Pot (metallic gold) and Chocolate Martini (gilded deep espresso).
review
Yes, you’ve totally seen this before. But it is slightly different and I mean beyond the one shade that has a different name. The Too Faced Natural Eyes Eyeshadow Palette is beauty pageant material. It’s beautiful, sure, but it’s also got the brains and the subtle shimmer in two of the shades also give it an air of mystery. Like… “what will I be able to do with this next?”.
It’s an upgrade of one that OG TF fans likely have in their stash with one shade (Nude – old vs. Strip Poker – new) being named differently. The packaging, of course, is amped up too and STUNNING. Like, it needs to be on everything in my life level of stunning. The heavy pink and gold compact has a lacy design with a heart clasp. On the inside there is a full-sized mirror and the 9 shadow shades that smell like chocolatey yum goodness.
The matte eyeshadows are fabulous. Apply like butter with fabulous pigment and blend like a dream. The metallics are gorgeous and on the same level however I did experience fall-out with Erotica so you’ll want to be careful when using that one. It’s pigment is also a little on the lower end as compared to the others so I suggest packing it on with a firm brush to amp it up plus restrict the fall-out a bit.
Just in case you’re at a loss for how to use these shadows you’ll also receive a How-To Glamour Guide with three ideas to help you “get the look”.
Reviews on Sephora are conflicting. Some say this one is better, some say the OG is better. Unfortunately I no longer have the OG to compare this one too but I must say, I’m in love with this new version!
Will you be upgrading? (Your answer is “YES”).

Beautiful. I feel like I already have so many nude palettes but maybe it’s time to add another one to the collection. I don’t think I’ve actually ever tried too faced shadows before, so this might be the perfect opportunity.
