I can think of a ton but the first one that pops into my head, and it’s likely the first one I ever learned, is after you put on your lip product you take your thumb and stick it in your mouth (like you’re about to be a thumb sucker) and pull it out. This removes the lip color from the inner part of your lips so you don’t get any product on your teeth.
