Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara is touted as the mascara that is “so good it should be illegal”. UD says their new mascara gives 13.7x the lash volume and a sexy, fluttery, intensely black fringe – for perfect lashes every time. The formula will volumize and lengthen while it separates. The custom brush (with tiny precision hooks) grabs onto lashes, curling as it coats. TONS of insane benefits for thicker, impossibly long, perfectly fanned-out lashes.

No matter how many layers this mascara is said to never clump. It also uses TWO types of black pigments for an intense black shade. A combo of hollow silica and ultra-light fibers volumize lashes without weighing them down, while Vitamin E and pantheon nourish/condition. A combination of polymers helps the mascara adhere to your lashes for lasting wear without flaking, smearing or smudging.

With the claims being as large as they are I had to immediately put this mascara to the test… in the most humid of times…. August.
One coat wasn’t super impressive to me. TBH one coat did nothing but make my lashes darker. The second coat did the heavy lifting, curling, thickening… all those things. My lashes tend to criss-cross even with nothing on but I didn’t find that Troublemaker exaggerated that. I stopped at the third coat because it didn’t seem to do much else beyond the second coat. I also put one coat on the lower lashes.

Wear time was truly all day. I tried this out even while I was helping out at cheer practice, sweating my butt off. I had no transfer or migration migration and the volume/lift lasted.

I wore this mascara without a primer (because currently I don’t own one) and also wore it below without any help from a curler (it does nothing for me anyway).

I think I would really only want this for the packaging hahaha! Drugstore really are killing it with Mascara’s lately so not sure if I would splurge just for that factor (who am I kidding, I totally would!).
