Question of the Week: What’s your favorite makeup palette and why?
The Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Eyeshadow Palette is the very first one that came to mind. I am a fan of quite a few but this is one of the permanent ones that I reach for the most that I probably talk about the least. I use it constantly, particularly Firecracker. It’s fun for day-to-night eye looks and essential for a halo eye look! (my original review)

My Beauty Bunny is Currently Craving: the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum. I’m already obsessed with glycolic acid for making my skin look amazing, and this looks like some next level glycolic and lactic acid-action without irritation!
Reminds me – I bought the Tartiest To Go Amazon Clay Palette during the Sephora sale – it came with a mini lip gloss and mascara. I had read some very meh reviews about tarte eye-shadows being patchy, so I didn’t have high expectations, I favor UD palettes and some others. What a surprise – even though neutral, color selection is great for a mini-palette (although a bit warm for me but that’s just life having coolish undertones) and I was surprised that the shimmers can be toned down. The gold in particular gives a foiled look, but blends out nicely with the matte for a stealthy shimmer. I will definitely consider more tarte products in the future. I didn’t care for the mascara (the spikey brush, prefer a bristles so my fine eyelashes don’t go spidery on me) – I am soooo picky with mascara and now looking for a good waterproof because it appears my beloved bareMinerals waterproof topcoat has been discontinued (why oh why).
They have a fabulous one coming out for Fall! I saw a sneak peek last month on their Twitter. I’m DYING for it. It’s my top must-have so far and I haven’t even seen swatches LOL!
My favorite palatte is the KVD Metal Matte. I finally have those brights that come out bright!
Ohhhhh I don’t have that one! It looks so gorgeous!
I love the idea of “question of the week.” This is one of my favourite palettes as well. I would probably go with my Naked palette. http://www.mrsqbeauty.com
I love the whole UD Naked line as well! Naked Basics is a staple!
