Maybe you don’t hit up all of the festivals (I personally don’t) but maybe you’re a 90’s kinda girl (I personally am) and want to rock your neon nails every day of the Summer. The NAILS INC Rainbow Riot Collection gives you the three core neon shades you need in your life to rock out at the next NKOTB concert as well as a white base to make your shades and nail art pop.
swatches
All of the swatches below are done using OPI Nail Envy for Sensitive & Peeling Nails as a base coat, 2 coats of nail polish and Salon Perfect Top Coat.
Pink Rave. Neon Pink.
Coral Club. Neon Coral.
Acid House. Neon Chartreuse.
White Out. A long-wear, high-shine white cream nail polish. This shade is opaque in two coats and allows the three shades in the Rainbow Riot Collection to apply at their most neon.
One coat of all three neon shades over two coats of White Out.
final thoughts
I loved how neon these shades were even without the white base! So bold and beautiful. Without a top coat these dry down to a really cool vinyl looking type of finish. I love the glossy look of a top coat but it does make me happy to be able to wear a polish several ways.
The formula was good on all except Coral Club. Mine had leaked a bit so I don’t believe it was fully closed (that’s why it looks a bit empty in the photos) and it may have dried out some. It didn’t paint on nicely and that wasn’t consistent with the other shades BUT when it dried down it didn’t look bad on the nails. If you have this color please let me know how it worked out for you!
NAILS INC Nail Polish shades retail for $11.00 each and are available at Sephora and nailsinc.com.
Thanks for the post. I was looking for a good review about Nailsinc before I go buy them.
You’re welcome! I’m loving them!
