If you were surprised when Urban Decay launched their skincare then you’ll need to make sure you’re sitting down for this one. I have in my hands the Urban Decay Go Naked Perfume Oil ($24.00 // Sephora) …. and it is AMAZING.
The Urban Decay Go Naked Perfume Oil is the first fragrance launch from the brand and is described as a “sensuous, super-concentrated perfume oil that conjures up the scent of sun-warmed skin. Anytime. Anywhere.”
Top Notes: Italian bergamot, petitgrain, mandarin and lemon.
Middle Notes: orange blossom and neroli.
Base Notes: lavender, jasmine and musk.
I’m so incredibly picky about fragrances. 90% of perfumes that I try end up smelling funky on me, even the ones that everyone deems as a must have. Out of the 10% that smell nice on me only about 3% don’t give me a massive headache. Urban Decay Go Naked Perfume Oil is subtle enough for me to handle, but fragrant enough that it lasts all day long and I can catch a whiff of it whenever I’m moving around. It’s that type of scent that is so delicious that you can’t stop lifting your wrist to your nose and breathing in.
As far as the “notes” of the fragrance go the only one that really sticks out to me is the neroli, which I’m normally not a fan of. I can tell it’s neroli that I’m smelling but it’s blended in so nicely with the other notes that I actually LOVE it. It’s not really a citrus scent but I can’t say it sticks out as a floral scent either. Go Naked is definitely different than anything I’ve ever owned but it’s now got a place at the front of my fragrances as a current fave.
What is your favorite fragrance? Will you give the inaugural perfume from Urban Decay a chance?
For reference my favorite fragrances to date are Chanel Chance, YSL Black Opium and Chloe Roses. If you love those, it’s likely you’ll love this one too!
Urban Decay Go Naked Perfume Oil will be available on June 3 at Sephora and Sephora.com for VIB Rouge, June 7 at UrbanDecay.com, June 30 at Urban Decay Free-Standing Stores and July 13 at Sephora and Sephora.com. This product is limited edition.
I love Black opium & all the notes sound great to me so this one could be a winner for me 🙂
Can’t wait to sniff this one! Brb, gotta go reach VIB Rouge! haha
