Confidence in a Compact™ with SPF 50+. The coverage on this foundation blew me away! I didn’t like the included sponge at all and found that the formula was best applied with the IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Flat Top Buffing Foundation Brush #6. It helped to provide the fuller coverage that I look for and buffed the product out evenly on the skin.
The foundation did wear all day but quite a bit of my oil shined through. I was able to blot to remove the oil and am happy to report that doing so didn’t strip the product from my face. I think that this foundation formula would be best on normal-to-dry skin, or skin just not as oily as mine. LOVE the coverage and wear, but I’ve got to mattify as much as possible!
Below all 7 shades are swatched. For reference my face currently matches up the best with Light but the Medium is light enough that in the Summer I’d probably have to use that.
Heavenly Skin™ Skin-Smoothing Complexion Brush. I’m not a fan of the brush for applying this foundation. I think if you’re looking for a lighter coverage it’ll be fine, and it does buff the product well. I prefer a fuller coverage so the Flat Top Kabuki is more my preference.
