Never did I ever think I’d ever drive a Minivan let alone love one. In December I test drove the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Touring – L Plus and you guys… it was LAID OUT. This car was beautiful… this MINIVAN was gorgeous! I felt like a rockstar driving it around!

Why we need it: My husband and I had actually been talking about test driving a minivan all of last Summer because we needed more trunk space and third row seating. My sons is a catcher for baseball Spring, Summer and Fall plus we have all of his other stuff PLUS we usually have a ton of food, drink and extra kids shoved into the car to drive the distance. A minivan just made sense.

Why we love it: Immediately when I got inside and looked behind me my first thought was “NICE there’s no WAY my kids can find anything to fight about with all this space!” They did, btw. The minute my son got in he leaned the second row seat back and it didn’t at all touch my daughter in the third row but of course she had to be drama. They’re first exclamation after that was that the third row had drink holders. Before even noticing the Seatback Video Screens that they could watch Blu-Ray/DVD on and also play games (because you get a 6 month trial of UConnect), my kids saw the drink holders. Priorities. Those Seatback Video Screens were a SAVIOR on the 90 minute drive to see my Grandma… no fighting. At all. No whining, no “are we there yet”, nothing but giggles and silence. It was like a vacation.

I personally loved the heated steering wheel the most. Like I said, priorities. My hands are always cold and the steering wheel kept them nice and toasty.

PLUS heated front seats and heated second row seats.

When we did our Christmas shopping the steering wheel love was quickly put on hold for the Stow’n Go Seating. We were able to load up ALL of the presents in the back, hidden from sneaky little eyes.

This was also my first experience with a keyless entry. It basically rocked my world and my kids thought it was the coolest thing ever. My son is into magic tricks so I had to play a little bit and tell him I did it with my mind. 😉 My car now has a backup camera so I was VERY happy to see that the Pacifica also had this as well as Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection (which, now that the van is gone I do miss that the most).

Why you need it: Have you been paying attention?! There isn’t enough time in the world to tell you all of the awesome that this van features. Basically, if a Rockefeller had a Minivan, the Chysler Pacifica Touring – L Plus would be it.
