You may have seen me post shots of the Essie Winter 2016 Nail Polish Collection on my Instagram and other social media. And, yes, this collection has been out awhile. But. This week as I dug through my nail polishes for new mani colors I grabbed two of them and thought… this collection is gorgeous and it flows so nicely… I want it on my blog. So, here we go!
I’ve long been a fan of the Essie Nail Polish line in general – particularly beigey-pink shades that look fabulous on, wear well and carry that subtle sparkle we usually only see with Chanel. It’s like affordable Chanel! The Winter 2016 line had one hue with a slight sparkle but the rest were “groovy”, vampy, flashy… I mean, it’s a 6-piece collection that covered ALL the bases of Winter life.
Ready to Boa // glistening bronzed mahogany w/ a copper shift
Oh Behave! // minx peach frost w/ a golden shift
Go With the Flowy // cloudlike dove gray w/ slight shimmer
Getting Groovy // metallic palladium gold
Party on a Platform // garnet red crème
Satin Sister // ebony peacock blue cream
