If you peeked at my Instagram on Cyber Monday you may have noticed me announce that NARS had released two Narsissist Unfiltered Cheek Palettes ($59.00 each) exclusively at Sephora for that day only. Now that Cyber Monday has passed the Cheek Palettes are listed as “coming soon” – but never fear, they’ll hit narscosmetics.com on December 15!

There are two NARS Narsissist Unfiltered Cheek Palettes – Unfiltered I and Unfiltered II. Each palette has six blushes with 5 of the shades being limited edition and one being a part of the permanent line.
Unfiltered I is more warm with “hot bronzes and reds”. You’ll get blush shades in Watch Me (opalescent gold sheen), Me First (apricot sheen), Takeover (copper rose sheen), Out There (deep russet matte), Chic (rich raspberry matte) and Exhibit A (red matte).

The swatches below are done dry and on bare skin (no primers):

Unfiltered II is more on the cool side of “soft pinks and golds”. You’ll get blush shades in Conquest (pastel peach matte), Undefeated (pale pink shimmer), Power Play (vivid pink matte), Hot Sand (peach champagne sheen), Fame (pink amber sheen), Candid (mauve raspberry shimmer).

The swatches below are done dry and on bare skin (no primers):

To me the formula of the blushes in these palettes was consistent with the formula in the regular NARS blush compacts. Nicely pigmented on swatching and when applying to the cheeks and the color lasted all day on me. With the deeper shades (hello, Exhibit A) you’re going to want to use a very light hand when applying… you can always add more!
I love how the blush pans in this palette are a good size to dip your brush into (0.12 oz each) but if you want to swirl a few together you can easily do that to customize a new color.
What NARS Narsissist Unfiltered Palette would you pick? My fave is Unfiltered II just because they’re more wearable for my skintone – more “every day” for me!
The NARS Narsissist Unfiltered Cheek Palettes will be available on 12/15 at narscosmetics.com and everywhere else (like Sephora & Nordstrom) on 2/1. Both palettes are limited edition. (I recommend signing up for an email alert at Sephora just in case it does launch a bit sooner).
