Do you break the rules? Do you take risks? Then The Estée Edit by Estée Lauder (available at Sephora) wants you! Estée Lauder is a brand you’ve heard of, a beauty empire, and now it’s got a younger sister with a lot of attitude. Check out some of the products from The Estée Edit and dare to wear your faves 😉 Just kidding… anyone can wear this line 😉 Check it out!
Cocobalm ($22.00 // Sephora). Cocobalm is the newest launch from Estée Edit and it’s available in five shades each with a satin finish. The two shown here are Coco White (sheer white) and Coco Berry (sheer pinked berry).
The packaging very different. The product is held in round, clear, squeezable “tubes” with a silver cap that pops off. You squeeze out a bit of the color and smooth it on your lips. I found the formula to be thick-ish and slightly sticky, yet not uncomfortably so and very moisturizing. The finish on the lips is super shiny with a slight coconut fragrance. I personally love that, but if you’re not a fan you’ll want to pass because it doesn’t immediately fade (but will after a bit).
The coconut scent comes from the coconut oil in the product which feels nourishing and soothing. We all know how amazing coconut oil is at doing all the things. 😉
The Barest Contour Lip Liner ($20.00 // Sephora). When you want that fuller looking lip but don’t want the injections you contour and play like you have it. This liner is available in six shades and 02 In the Flesh is shown. This shade matched perfectly to give my lips a bit of a thicker look as well as evened out the areas that were off and little smaller. I basically got the perfect lip shape quickly and easily. It also stayed on quite well through the day.
The Barest Blush ($28.00 // Sephora). Four shades of The Barest Blush are available, all said to have a “Radiant Finish”. 03 Purr Pink is shown below and it’s a beautiful pop of a happy, medium pink shade. The pale, icy pink splash of color on the right is unfortunately just an overspray. The color is gorgeous in it’s own right but the pale, icy part gave it a nice pop. I’d love to see it released again with the pale color going the whole way through to mix with the deeper color or to use alone as a highlight. This blush had wonderful pigment and lasted on my cheeks all day long.
The Edgiest Kohl Shadowstick ($22.00 // Sephora). I loveeee me some quick and easy shadow sticks to use as primers for my eyes. Even better? Kohl in the title. A match made in heaven?! YAAAAS! Ten shades are available and I have three shown here in 02 Frost Bite (pearlized green/gold/grey), 05 Jaded (pearlized olive gold) and 09 Spiced (pearlized garnet).
If you follow me on Snapchat you’ve already seen how well these stay on my arm, but I didn’t touch on how well they stayed on my oily eye lids. They apply with a nice pigment and are easy to blend out a bit. Once they set they’re there for the long-haul. I personally found that these wore well on their own as well as with a shadow on top of them… even without the use of a secondary primer underneath.
Metallishadow Crème + Powder ($25.00 // Sephora). Three shades of the Metallishadow Crème + Powder are available but the one shown is Aquanova which is described as a “highly pigmented teal cream shadow with teal/peacock loose pearl”. Alone both of these products perform well and have a nice pigment… but when they’re worn together they stand out as one, in-your-face deep teal eye color that lasts all day on my oily lids.
It’s safe to say I’m a major fan and wouldn’t mind picking up literally everything else to try out. Up next for me purchase wise? Scarlet Eclipse Metallishadow Crème + Powder… I can’t even control my life without it. SO pretty! What would be on your wish list for The Estée Edit by Estée Lauder?
The Estée Edit by Estée Lauder is available exclusively at Sephora.
