We all have something to hide. I’m talking about those demons on our face – blemishes, scarring, redness. Sometimes they just won’t go away and things like laser treatments and even creams can not only be costly but time consuming. Here are a few picks from Laura Geller to hide those things so you can feel confident that your visible “demons” are safely hidden.
First up you’ll want to attack the surface by soothing and balancing redness with the Laura Geller Spackle Treatment Soothing Makeup Primer ($32.00 // ULTA Beauty). This has a green tint to it to help cancel out minimal redness and provides and excellent base for the rest of your makeup.
After your face makeup is applied you can reflect the eye away from imperfections with a subtle yet spectacular highlight by using the Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator ($26.00 // ULTA Beauty). Four shades are available and the two I’m most into right now are Ballerina (candlelit, warm rose gold) and Gilded Honey (effervescent caramel honey). The powder glides on lightly and effortlessly to highlight the areas you desire but I also really love to use them as eyeshadows! They’re the perfect shades for a single wash of color with a bold liner.

When all else fails… deflect with a bold lip color. Laura Geller Color Brilliance Lustrous Lipstick ($21.00 // Laura Geller) in Flirt offers the perfect distraction in the form of a mulberry metallic shade. It’s a fabulous color for Fall but it also works for a Summer evening. The metallic doesn’t look frosty and the wear is comfortable, lasting a few hours (as long as a regular lipstick would on me).

The illuminators look beautiful, and would work great as eyeshadows too!

OMG! Ballerina looks so pretty. I own Gilded Honey and I love it so much! I think that a lot of Laura Gellar’s products are underated. Its a nice line. Great post!
