First off I have to apologize for how late this post is. The Zoya Matte Velvet Nail Polish Collection is still available on the Zoya website, so this is still valid and the shades are seriously beautiful. I had these swatched well before Christmas but holiday life got in the way and then of course my server got hacked and my blog was down so it never went live. This also explains why 5 out of 6 shades have a Christmas Tree accent nail (LMAO). When I did the first shade, Aspen, it looked like snow so my daughter and I were playing with those Sally Hansen Nail Art Pens making Christmas designs and she insisted that I leave it on. Honor doesn’t have it in the swatch because I ended up swatching that one a few days later.
After that lengthy explanation enjoy the swatches 😉 *I used no base coat but Zoya recommends that you do for Honor and Yves to help prevent staining. Each shade needed 2 coats for full opacity. For the top coat pics I used Salon Perfect Top Coat. Yes, these are meant to be worn Matte but I just LOVE them with the top coat!
Aspen // “A sparkling arctic white with a micronized diamond pearl fleck in the traditional MatteVelvet finish.”
Sue // “A soft champagne gold with a multi-hued oyster shell pearl fleck in the traditional MatteVelvet finish.”
Honor // “A true emerald green with a tone on tone emerald pearl fleck in the traditional MatteVelvet finish”
Amal // “A classic crimson red with a ruby red pearl fleck in the traditional MatteVelvet finish.”
Iris // “A deep amethyst with a fuchsia pearl fleck in the traditional MatteVelvet finish.”
Yves // “A deep sapphire that’s midway in between indigo and royal blue with a blue pearl fleck in the traditional MatteVelvet finish.”
My favorites from this collection are Charli and Sia. What are yours?
Zoya Nail Polish retail for $9.00 each and are available at top salons, spas and Zoya.com.

Those are sooo gorgeous! I am not normally a fan of rich blues, but that is beautiful! Also, I love the Christmas accent nail, haha! 🙂
