These lipstick collabs lately! MAC is partnering with some serious icons for 2015 – controversial, bombshells… and now divas! The latest lipstick collaboration is with superstar Mariah Carey – a luminous shade called All I Want.
Named with her hit song “All I Want for Christmas is You” in mind the lipstick is the only item within this collaboration… but I think we need to all get our social media posts together and let MAC know that a full on collection would be awesome with Mariah! Think of the highlighters!!!
All I Want is described as a “shimmering champagne, frost”. It’s absolutely that, plus a bit of a pink tint when you add it to your lips. The formula is on the sheer side and needs layered and is also incredibly frosty. You guys it’s Mariah. It’s perfectly Mariah.
For frosty lipsticks such as this I like to either put a coordinating gloss over-top or dab it over a red/deep shade. Below I’m wearing it lightly over MAC Von Teese, which gives the matte red a bit more shine and dimension. The perfect holiday combo!

I need this as a topper! I doubt my skintone can pull of champagne shimmer lipstick but this would look fabulous on deeper shades!

I think in the past I’d have loved this but now I don’t know if frosty is as good for me as it is for the snowman.

Mariah does it again. I am always a fan of the frosty lip. I blame growing up in the 90’s. Whatever the reason it just never gets old 🙂
