Just because you’re out of high school doesn’t mean your major skin woes are over. I actually didn’t even begin to get breakouts until I was in my late 20’s and had my kids. That’s also when I started to notice fine lines around my eyes. What I’m telling you is kids cause wrinkles. What I’m telling you is as your skin evolves so should your skincare routine.
Recently I got the chance to try out the L’Oréal Revitalift™ Triple Power™ line which is touted as “next generation of skin care“., Revitalift™ Triple Power™ Deep-Acting Moisturizer is a powerful, luxurious moisturizer that goes beyond a simple anti-aging cream to address 3 dimensions that visibly age skin: 1. Reduce the look of wrinkles 2. Refirm Contours 3. Replenishes moisture. This line is formulated with Pro-Xylane to quickly penetrate skin to help fight each wrinkle, promising smoother texture in one week and increased elasticity in four weeks.
Revitalift™ Triple Power™ Day Lotion Moisturizer SPF 20 // $24.99. One pump is perfect for coating my entire face without any sort of heavy, greasy or oily feeling. There is a slight fragrance but it dulls down a bit after you apply and isn’t overpowering. I was happy that this product didn’t break me out at all and seemed to help fade the discoloration I have in the cheek area. As for the fine line department I only really have them around my eyes and this in conjunction with the Revitalift™ Triple Power™ Eye Treatment has improved that area quite nicely.
Revitalift™ Triple Power™ Intensive Overnight Mask // $24.99. The word mask may be a little off-putting for some. To me it means something that I’d apply, leave on for 5-10 minutes and then remove. This mask is more of a cream that you leave on through the night and wake up to visible results. The texture is soft and mousse-like but doesn’t feel oppressive when applied. It absorbed quickly into my skin and has very little fragrance (though there is a light one). My skin did appear and feel more supple after the first night and I was able to maintain that look the entire testing period. I was also incredibly impressed with how smooth my skin felt in the morning.
Revitalift™ Triple Power™ Eye Treatment // $24.99. I am so into eye treatments lately. I think it’s because the eye area is the place where I have the most lines right now, and I’m basically trying to stop that. This eye treatment is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid and has my favorite type of applicator (shown below) because it’s slanted (making it easy to apply to the under-eye area with) and metal (making the application feel cool and refreshing). I used this day and night and have definitely noticed that the lines around my eyes don’t look quite as deep or tired.
I feel that this trio really worked well for me. I had results without any sort of repercussions (like break outs) and even though my skin is mostly oily I didn’t feel that this exacerbated that. In fact, I felt like I got the moisture I needed with the dramatic weather shift we’ve been having.

I am clicking over to their site now to take the skin care consultation! I have been using ProActiv for a while now, but for the past few months I keep breaking out and I just don’t get it. I pay too much for this stuff for it to not work at what it claims to do- prevent and treat acne, lol. I need a new line of skincare that does anti-aging (hello, I am in my late 30’s) and prevents the breakouts.

I had to completely change my skin care when I hit my 30’s! The stuff I used my whole life just stopped. Skin is a PITA lol
I don’t think I’ve tried any skincare items from L’Oreal, but these sound worth a go.

I tried some of the products from this line and had a really bad reaction with my Eczema. I was bummed because I had hoped it would work. I think that the concept and being able to find them in the drugstore is such a plus.

Kids do cause wrinkles. It’s a proven fact – at least in my house it is. This line sounds excellent and the price is great.
