I’ve been dying to try Sleek MakeUP for awhile now. It’s been featured on so many of my favorite blogs and is always met with the best reviews. Recently I was sent a selection of products to check out and I was blown away by the quality of them, particularly because they’re also at an amazing price point.
First let’s talk about the packaging, which reflects the brand name.. Sleek. The products are held within matte black containers with Sleek written across in a glossy black. Not overstated or understated… just perfect.
Below are a selection of products that have earned a home in my permanent makeup stash. If the performance out of these are any indication I’m going to be needing A LOT more!
True Color Lipstick ($7.49 // Sleek). I received three shades of the True Color Lipsticks in Papaya Peach (matte), Cherry (sheen) and Succumb (sheen).
The formula on the matte shade, Papaya Punch (coral) was a bit dry, so you’ll want to exfoliate before you use because it did accentuate lines/dry patches. How I have been wearing it (because something about the shade makes my hair and eyes POP so I need it in my life) is by exfoliating then putting on a light lip balm underneath. Something like EOS which doesn’t hydrate for anything but works well as a base in instances like this.
The formula on the Sheen shades, Cherry (merlot) and Succumb (almond), is extremely creamy, pigmented and comfortable. Glossy as heck. I thought Succumb would be my fave of the three shades but it’s definitely Cherry. Look out for this one to be my Fall and Winter go-to lip. It’s that good.
Creme to Powder Blush ($8.99 // Sleek). Of the 6 shades available I received two in Gerbera (coral) and Carnation (pink).
At first glance you think nothing special and pray they’ll be easy to work with. These cream to powder blushes are a freaking dream. Super pigmented and creamy. Easy to apply (I used a stippling brush) and they lasted all day long on me.
Eau La La Liner ($7.49 // Sleek). Of the 20 shades available I was sent two to try in Blue Moon (deep cobalt) and Noir (greyed out black).
These glide on easily and last all day on the lid. I was impressed with the staying power on my lower waterline, which is where I like to wear liner. Normally a liner will fade a lot or disappear completely within an hour or so. The Eau La La Liners only faded slightly and lasted several hours before I felt like I needed to touch up a bit. I wear contacts so my eyes get watery – a few hours on the waterline to me is a win.
i-Divine Oh So Special Eyeshadow Palette ($11.99 // Sleek). Many i-Divine palettes are available, but the one sent to me was in Oh So Special, which is a collection of pinky-peach and neutral shades with a few deep ones at the end to smoke up your work look for happy hour 😉
I am obsessed with this palette. I don’t even know what else to tell you. Most of the shades were uber smooth and pigmented. Only Bow & Pamper were a little dry but still performed decently. Just all around very easy to use and wonderful palette! Celebrate just may be my favorite eye shadow shade on the face of the Earth at this point. The eye look I created with this palette is simple, but it’s going to be a heavy favorite for Fall.
The swatches below are done dry with no primer underneath:
In the look below: (FACE) YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer, MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation, MAC Pro Longwear SPF 20 Compact Foundation, YSL Touche Eclat Blur Perfector, Sleek MakeUP Carnation Creme to Powder Blush, Charlotte Tilbury FIlmstar Bronze & Glow. (EYES) Urban Decay Primer Potion, Sleek MakeUP Oh So Special Palette (Gift Basket on lid, Celebrate blended into the crease and up, The Mail to blend out Celebrate, Bow at the inner corner & to highlight, Gift Basket smudged under lower lash line), Sleek MakeUP Noir Eau La La Liner, Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara, Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara, IT Cosmetics YBBB Brow Power, Anastasia Clear Brow Gel. (LIPS) Sleek MakeUP Succumb Lipstick.

I have read so many good reviews on Sleek products but have yet to make a purchase. I’m going to have to change that. These blushes and eye shadows sound wonderful. Thanks!
