With the latest Star Wars movie, Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens, due to launch in December COVERGIRL has developed a limited edition line of cosmetics inspired by the movie. Global Creative Design Director & top makeup artist Pat McGrath has created six looks to compliment it – for both the light and dark sides.
Mascara. This is my favorite part of the launch because 10 different quotes are available to choose from in the most recent, top mascara formula. Pick your side: Dark (The Supersizer by Lashblast) or Light (The Supersizer by Lashblast Waterproof)?

There are 10 quotes on the mascara tubes and the fan/collector in you will need them all: 1/10 May the force be with you, 2/10 Do. Or do not. There is no try, 3/10 You’re my only hope, 4/10 I feel the good in you, 5/10 Luminous beings are we, 6/10 I will finish what you started, 7/10 There has been an awakening, 8/10 Indeed you are powerful, 9/10 You will meet your destiny and 10/10 Immune to the light.
Nail Polish. Three shades of the Outlast Stay Brilliant formula are available in Speed of Light, Nemesis and Red Revenge. Red Revenge is the one I have to show and it’s a beautiful true red cream – fully opaque in one coat.
Lipstick. The lipsticks are available in 6 shades Silver #10, Lilac #20, Red #30, Gold #40, Dark Purple #50 and Nude #70. Below I have three to share with you and while they’re not exactly every day wearable they’re certainly a lot of fun to play with! I had a good time creating ombre looks and also a nice flashback to the Lilac lipstick I wore to Senior Prom in 1998!

That nail polish looks amazing! When I first saw the announcement for this collection I thought it looked pretty cool! My family members are big Star Wars fans, so this is pretty exciting for me. I’d want to buy some of this line just for the packaging!
They definitely went frosty with the lippies. I think it’s cool that Covergirl has these – very cool.

I love the lipsticks! I had a client who requested the silver for a fashion job and I could have used that. (I ended up having to create it using MUFE flash with gloss).

I like the gold lipstick so I plan to pick that up, but now that I see the Red Revenge polish that looks like a jelly in your photo, I’ll be adding that in too! I like the Super Sizer mascara and own a few tubes so I don’t need this mascara but glad they chose the formula for it
