Clinique has several new releases and I have to tell you guys right off…. and I hate to spoil the surprise… but they are ALL GOOD. There is one product in particular that I’ve been waiting to find for years and now it’s here and it’s perfection!
All four of these products have to do with the eye area, all four are must-haves. Get your shopping fingers ready… here we go:
Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara ($17.00 // Nordstrom). Five shades are available and the shade in this post is called Two Ton Teal. In two coats this shade volumized and lifted my lashes to perfection. The curl held all day and I loved that Two Ton Teal was slightly noticeable as being “not black” but wasn’t so noticeable that it appeared to be off-the-wall for an everyday eye look. The shade Bodacious Black Honey is exclusively available at Sephora.
Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pens ($19.50 // Nordstrom). These pens are available in just your basic black and brown shades but they are incredibly easy to use. No pulling, not too liquidy and not too dry. Just… perfect. I actually was able to apply this pen with just one hand (I tried to do a video, the lighting was awful so delete) which is impressive to me because I have lids that generally need stretched out to cooperate.
Skinny Sticks ($16.50 // Nordstrom). I loved all of things shown in this post but the Skinny Sticks are hands down my favorites of the favorites. I’ve been looking for a good metallic mint shade for my waterline that would stay for at least most of the day. Thin Mint Skinny Stick by Clinique stayed all day long with just minor fading. You could still see that it was in the waterline by the end of the day. My waterline area is very watery, as I’m prone to allergies and I wear contacts. I’m buying every single one, all nine of them, and I hope they’re all just as good.
Just Browsing Brush-On Styling Mousse ($16.50 // Nordstrom). Four shades are available and the one shown here is deep brown. I’m a fan of these mini brushes because they grab at all the hairs without getting any color where it shouldn’t be. The formula applied well and held all day.
The swatches below are done on dry skin with no primers:
The eye look below was created using MAC Utterly Becoming Pro Longwear Paint Pot, eye shadow shades from the Coastal Scents Revealed 3 Palette, Clinique Brown Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen (top), Clinique Thin Mint Skinny Stick (bottom), Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Two Ton Teal and Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara.
When I say I need every single shade of the liners and mascara hear me. Hear me loud and clear. I’ll absolutely be picking the rest up. What product do you think you’d love the most?
Clinique is available at Nordstrom, Macy’s, Sephora and clinique.com.
