The theme for the July 2015 Beauty Box 5 is “Summer Night Out”. Because when it’s hotter than Hades you can at least look cool.

What is Beauty Box 5?  Beauty Box 5 is a monthly beauty subscription service that is curated by a team of beauty experts.  With each shipment you’ll receive 5 samples for $12.00 (monthly).  You can also choose to save some cash and sign up for $30.00 and be billed quarterly or $99.00 and be billed yearly.  Shipping is FREE and your membership also gets you exclusive discounts from partner brands.

 

This month I got…

From OFRA, Lip Gloss. The shade I got is in Apricot Dream which is a sheer, peachy shimmer (colors sent out are assorted). So pretty with the lip liner that also came in this set. OFRA is a fabulous brand and every single one of their products that I’ve tried has been amazing. This item is full sized.

From OFRA, Lip Liner. I got the shade Baby Doll which is a deep rose-mauve (colors sent out are assorted). The perfect pairing with the lip gloss that was sent and if you read about that you know I love OFRA ;). This item is full sized.

From Nanacoco, Nail Polish. I got the shade Hope of Spring, which is a sheer green metallic shimmer (colors sent out are assorted). Very pretty – three coats were used in the photo. This item is full sized.

From Love Life Skin, Love Life Skin Collection. This was a set of 4 skin care packets – 2 Restorative Night Cream and 2 Intensive Recovery Serum. I’m not a fan of skincare samples in packets. The only time I don’t mind is when it’s a brand I’m in love with and I can use the packets for traveling. On the card it’s said that there are “assorted colors” which I imagine means not everyone got night cream and serum. If you love to try out new skin care you’ll love to get this, but I have to be careful because of break outs.

From Pur-lisse, Flash Tattoos. These are popular, so it’s definitely good to see them included, but they’re just not for me. My daughter, however, is over the moon to wear them.

Also included in this month’s box is a card from Sparkles & Pop for 30% off your purchase. On the back there is also info to win a Limited Edition “Blingy Night Out” Bundle. This months box was a win for me, mostly because of the OFRA. Definitely worth the retail price because the best items were the full sized items which total to over double what you’ll pay for the box.
