Because I bought the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette and also the Semi-Sweet Palette I didn’t think I needed to buy the Summer 2015 Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette ($36.00 // Sephora). That is … until I was enabled. The enabler was enabled to buy this palette from several other bloggers – most notably Phyrra (who is the main reason I buy any beauty product that is bold or out of my comfort zone) and Vampy Varnish (who is most similar to my skin tone).
The interior packaging matches the exterior in that you’ll not only want to eat it but you’ll love staring at it. Macarons. Stacked macarons. Just feed me and then get on my eye balls. It’s so sweet and girlie and cute! As is with all of the Too Faced nine shadow palettes this is in a travel-friendly tin case with a mirror living under the Glamour Guide at the top.
What is this Glamour Guide I speak of? The Glamour Guide is a tutorial booklet with instructions on how to get three looks (shown below):
Sweet & Spicy
Sugar Plums
Candy Coated
This is one of the most fun palettes that I’ve ever had from Too Faced. The shades are the perfect combo of fun vs. neutral, day time sexy vs night time sultry. Nine shades are included in the Sugar Pop Palette – Rock Candy (ivory w/ small gold glitters), Macaron (apricot w/ small gold glitters), Malted Milk Ball (chocolate w/ bronze flash), Strawberry Ice (icy pink frost), Sugared Violet (grape metallic), Blackberry (deep plum matte), Peach Fuzz (pale peach w/ small gold glitters), Bubblegum (mid-tone pink w/glitter) and Blue Raspberry (mid-tone ocean blue metallic). All of the shades were top notch except Blackberry, which wasn’t too bad but was a little on the dry side and Blue Raspberry swatches nicely but really needs a good primer and a good brush to look just as fabulous on the eye.
The swatches below are done dry on bare skin with no primer underneath:
In the look below In the look below: (EYES) I applied UDPP as a base then using the Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette I put Malted Milk Ball all over the lid and Macaron in the crease. Rock Candy was used at the inner corners and to highlight with Blue Raspberry smudged underneath the lower lash line (though you really can’t see it). The liner is Marc Jacobs Brown Out Highliner Gel Eye Crayon and the mascara is Benefit Roller Lash. (BROWS) IT Cosmetics Your Brows But Better Brow Power Skinny Pencil and Anastasia Clear Brow Gel. (FACE) Make Up For Ever HD Foundation in 125 and Pro Finish Powder in 120, Pür Minerals 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup SPF 15 in Light, Urban Decay Indecent Afterglow Blush. (LIPS) Urban Decay Liar Revolution High-Color Lipgloss. Jewelry by Rocksbox <— There’s also another face pic in natural light with no flash, but it looks a little too over-exposed in the sun.. more of a jewelry focus 😉 But you can see the Blue Raspberry Shadow well!!
Purchase the Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette for $36.00 now at Sephora, ULTA Beauty and toofaced.com.
I’m enabled on many items, this palette from Too Faced was just one of the more recent ones. My biggest luxury beauty enablers are definitely The Beauty Professor, RAEview, Kath the Fabzilla, Perilously Pale and The Beauty Look Book! For nail polish I always check out All Lacquered Up and The Polishaholic. Drugstore items, of course, are always found on Nouveau Cheap!

I did that same thing when it came out! Then it’s popping up all over. Phyrra and VV stand out to me as enablers for it but I know a few more posts had me also. It’s really gorgeous!
I’m so overwhelmed with neutral palettes that the only new palettes that catch my eye are with different and bright colors. I knew I had to have this the second I saw it. I’m in love with all the fun shades for the Spring and Summer time. Thanks for the swatches!
I love me the neutrals but this one has a little bit of fun mixed in. It’s perfect!!
What a pretty palette!
