Even though I’m a huge fan of all things bright, bold and neon for Summer there is something surprisingly refreshing about the jewel tones of the Chanel Collection Mediterranee for Summer 2015.
Four shades were released within this collection earlier this month in Mediterranee, Coquelicot, Lavanda and Terrana (which is the only shade that is listed as limited edition on the Chanel website).
697 Terrana. A shimmering chocolate brown.
707 Mediterranee. An ocean blue cream.
717 Coquelicot. A luminous vermillion red cream.
727 Lavanda. An intense vivid violet cream.
The formula on all of the shades in this collection were wonderful. Smooth and even. Each shade required two coats for full opacity but if you go a little thicker on the creams you can get away with just one. What are your picks from the Chanel summer polish shades?

wow! what swatches! your pics show Lavanda as a crelly with sparse secret shimmer- all others make it look like a plain creme. what say you? thanks
Girl I didn’t even notice that!!! I just painted it on my thumb and ran around the house and outside looking in different lighting and I don’t see shimmers. With Chanel I know they can be so subtle. I think in the case of my swatch it’s the lighting I used (which was indoors, day light lamp) or maybe it was the one I swatched right after Terrana. Lavanda is definitely a squishy looking one and I’d call it more a cream, personally.
