In the recent MAC collections several products have re-released including Chrome Angel Pro Longwear Paint Pot (which was previously released in 2013 and is now back within the Philip Treacy collab) and Waveline Fluidline which has been a long-time permanent product within the MAC brand and is now also a part of MAC is Beauty: Eyes.
MAC Waveline Fluidline ($16.00 // Nordstrom). On the website Waveline is described as a navy blue with low level gold pearl. You’ll be hard-pressed to see any of the gold pearl happening in this shade, but once you know it’s there you can kind of see it if you spread it out over the lid. I am obsessed with the color when it’s applied. In the pot it looks like a very vivid royal blue but when applied it’s a much deeper navy, like the description states. This applied well for me and lasted all day long. Definitely in my top three Fluidlines.
MAC Chrome Angel Pro Longwear Paint Pot ($21.00 // Nordstrom). On the website Chrome Angel is described as platinum silver. Two Pro Longwear Paint Pots were released with the Philip Treacy Collection – this one and, another repromote, Genuine Treasure. Genuine Treasure is a favorite of mine from back in 2011 when it was just a regular Paint Pot so I was excited to try out Chrome Angel, which is new to me. The color is a white silver and definitely on the sheer frosty side. Below it’s swatched heavily but when you apply to the eye lid it looks much sheerer, letting more of the glitter shine through. Regular Paint Pots never last on me but the Pro Longwear formula holds the eye look on all day long without fading or creasing.
In the swatches below the products are swatched dry without any primers:
What is your favorite MAC Fluidline? Paint Pot?
