Highlight and contouring are all the rage (thanks, Kim Kardashian) so for Top 10 Tuesday your fave beauty bloggers have come together to share some of our faves!
Chanel MÉDITERRANÉE LUMIERE D’ETE Illuminating Powder ($65.00 // Nordstrom). Lumiere d’Ete is limited edition but a brand new release so you can still get your hands on it! This subtle bronzer is more than just a pretty face – it packs the perfect shade for us pale gals to add up just a bit of color in a buildable way. It’s not intensely shimmery so it doesn’t accentuate pores, but I wouldn’t call it a matte either. It looks a lot more yellow sheered out on my arm than it did when I wore it, but it’s definitely more warm toned than cool. It was hard to dig into the product because I did not want to mess up that gorgeous rose design… but, and don’t boo me, it was worth it! Get your hands on this one fast!
* IT Cosmetics My Sculpted Face ($38.00 // ULTA Beauty). It’s all the colors you need to perfectly contour your face and a friends all at the same time. There are 6 shades within this palette so it’s also great to keep in a makeup kit because you’ll find something to work with any skin tone. There’s also an included face sculpting chart if you need a bit of help figuring out the best placement for the shades – there is obviously more than one face shape out there, but you’ll get the general idea and with a bit of practice be a pro in no time!
* Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour ($21.00 // Sephora) + Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight ($21.00 // Sephora). It seems there’s a Chubby Stick for anything now and as a 90’s girl that was always in lust with the original Chubby Sticks I’m totally okay with that. The latest duo are a highlight and a contour stick (sold separately) that make it easy to mark up your face while the silky cream formula makes it easy to blend out. I personally love the size of these ones because my face is round and I’ve got a lot more area to mark up than you slimmies out there 😉
NARS Contour Blush ($42.00 // Sephora). One of my favorite highlight/contour products from NARS is the Contour Blush (reviewed here). This matte duo is perfect for subtle, easy sculpting and is available in three shades. If you like a bit more shimmer the new Dual Intensity Blush in Craving ($45.00 // Sephora) is a fabulous pick!
Tarte The Sculptor Contouring Face Slenderizer ($24.00 // Sephora). For those that find the size of something like the Clinique Chubby Stick to be too big for their face a great pick would be The Sculptor from Tarte (reviewed here). It’s still bigger than the size of a crayon but there is less of an area of exposed product. If you have a slim/long face, you may find that this one is easier for you to manipulate to the spaces you need it.
ColourPop Aphrodisiac Blush ($8.00 // ColourPop). Okay… so this isn’t luxury but I saw it sitting there and I had to make room for it in this round-up. It’s that amazing. The pigment is crazy intense but the formula is so smooth it makes it easy to work with and blend out. This will last all day long!
Charlotte Tilbury ‘Filmstar Bronze & Glow’ Face Sculpt & Highlight ($68.00 // Nordstrom). In case you’re new I mention this one constantly and it’s the duo I reach for the most (reviewed here). I call it my no brainer contour and highlight. One hit application on both sides and I’m out the door. It never looks overdone and it’ll last all day. Plus… the packaging is REALLY pretty 😉
Benefit Dallas ($28.00 // Sephora). Dallas is allllll the rage in terms of bronzing and has been for awhile. I was always intimidated by it because it looked so dark. Once I finally bit the bullet and gave it a try I could never go back. The shade is beautiful for a bronzer but I even like to wear it alone as a blush (reviewed here). For highlighting I love to use Benefit Watt’s Up ($30.00 // Sephora) also. I get samples all of the time when I purchase things and the little size is great to get into the arch of the brow, cupids bow, etc. Note – the full size isn’t tiny for the areas I mentioned, but it does have a little spongey deal on the other side for easier application and blending.
BECCA Shadow & Light Bronze/ Contour Perfector™ ($40.00 // Sephora). When this duo was new in store I had to have it the moment I saw it. It just looked so pretty. The contrasting bronze shades give the perfect contour. I lean more towards the light side in the Winter season but when my face gets a little color I add in the darker side.
MAC Lightscapade Mineralize Skinfinish ($32.00 // Nordstrom). Okay who doesn’t love Lightscapade (reviewed here)? It looks like it would be a shimmer-bomb but when I wear it on my face it never turns up like that. If you want to look fantastical and glowy at all times, Lightscapade is where it’s at.

The use of contour beauty products provides the great protection to a human skin against the harmful sun rays and It also provides the supports in repairing and refining of the skin.
Thanks for showing these off! I need to take some time and learn how to contour properly.
