Generally people wear their full face of makeup all day long. Personally, 9 times out of 10, even when I’m not wearing a full face of makeup I’m always wearing mascara. Evening comes along and you want to go out but don’t have time to wash off the old and put on the new. Or you just don’t want to, which is the category I fall into. Reapplying mascara sucks. IDK about you guys but it feels SO WEIRD when I do it. I hate the feeling of it pulling at my lashes when I use the mascara wand to try to revive my eye makeup. Plus the end result isn’t pretty. Urban Decay Mascara Resurrection Review

Mascara Resurrection even by name is on point. This product is said to separate and soften lashes to prep them for another dose (aka layer) of mascara. As you can see it’s a curved wand and the product is a gel formula, which thankfully has not gotten gunky in the month that I’ve been testing this. Like with a brow gel, if you do see a bit too much product just lightly wipe off the excess before applying.

I LOVE this. I applied one coat of Resurrection to my lashes then one coat of mascara. My lashes were revived without the clumping and without the annoying pulling. It wasn’t 100% like new mascara appeared on my eyes but it was 90% looking great which works for me.

My big questions was “Does it work with ANY mascara”? Yes. The same way across the board. If you have an awesome mascara, it will look awesome again. If it sucks, well… get a new mascara. Some of my mascara loves are Urban Decay Perversion, Benefit Roller Lash, Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes and Milani Total Lash Cover. It worked just as well with every single one of those.

    I love most of Maybelline’s mascaras. I’m currently using their falsies collections and I’m loving it. I actually really like the Japanese brand Heroine heroine, they have really nice mascaras as well.

    Right now I’m using one by Vincent Longo that is really nice. It isn’t a bold mascara; it individually separates my lashes and makes them slightly fuller and longer. It really gives a nice, natural look.

    my fav mascara is the face shop pressian big mascara .. it wasn’t a waterproof mascara but it’s really lengthen my eyelashes and make it volume up .. easy to remove too

    My everyday in a hurry favorite is Maybelline Stiletto in black but I love Lorac Cobra when I’m going out and want the full thick lash look

    Actually the two mascaras that are my favorite are a Mary Kay mascara and a Clinique mascara and I can’t think of the specific mane of either of them but I know it when I see it. Currently I am using Better than Sex Mascara because it was given to me and I keep using it thinking I am going to one day see what all the craze is about it but to date I have no idea. I would NOT buy it for sure.

    I used to love L’Oreal False Lash Architect mascara. Unfortunately, several years after it was launched the mascara somehow deteriorated (or maybe it was just my impression). Anyway, I’m experimenting now and looking for a new favourite one.

    My favourite mascara is Cover Girl Lashblast! It’s a cheap one I know, but it works wonders on my thin, sparse lashes and holds a curl all day!

    I don’t know if you’ve heard of it in your neck of the woods but our big drugstore chain Boots stocks Soap & Glory. Do you have it? Anywho, they do a mascara called Thick & Fast and it is THE best mascara I’ve ever used. Big chunky brush, great formula, great staying power. I look like I have false lashes on when I wear it. It’s £10 I think (about $15?) which isn’t cheap but it’s not too bad since it lasts for ages.

    Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara is my go-to mascara. I’ve tried many (incl the new YSL Volume Effets), but I always come back to They’re Real (love the wand + formula).
