Pür Minerals Makeup Swatches, Review + FOTD

You may have seen yesterday on my Instagram feed that I’ve recently joined up with Pür Minerals as a PRO Artist. I’ll be in and out of ULTA Beauty showing you all of the awesomeness that Pür has to offer and also be at the events with the team! On Tuesday I shared a few of the Chateau Cheeks Cream Blushes in my Top Blushes for Spring post so today I wanted to share with you a few other products from the Pür Minerals line.

Pür Minerals 4-In-1 Liquid Veil Spray Foundation ($39.00 // ULTA Beauty). Available in 4 shades the Liquid Veil is intended to give an airbrushed finish with built-in skincare ingredients. Airbrush foundations can be a little intimidating in terms of application and, well.. mess. Liquid Veil is simple to use and it leaves a flawless, natural finish. It’s recommended to use the Liquid Chisel Brush or a beautyblender (trust me, there’s a night and day difference in the application with those vs. a general foundation brush) with this foundation and I find it’s best to shake it up and spray it directly on the tool before you apply. The coverage on this foundation is incredible yet still looks light, lasting all day long. The color shown is LIGHT.

Pür Minerals 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup SPF 15 ($27.00 // ULTA Beauty). Available in 11 shades with the promise of great coverage that feels light, built-in skincare ingredients and clinical results. I loved the coverage with this and when layered with the Liquid Veil it’s sure to cover all things. Yesterday in store two people with Rosacea bought both items after having them applied. The color shown is LIGHT.

Pür Minerals Disappearing Ink Concealer ($23.00 // ULTA Beauty). Available in 4 shades this is said to be the ultimate complexion quick fix complete with skincare ingredients as well as a unique “Diamond Complex” that reflects light away from imperfections. I love this because it works well as an undereye concealer and also covers imperfections (even discolorations like the small melasma marks I have under my eyes). The color shown is LIGHT.

Pür Minerals Chateau Kisses Lip Gloss ($18.00 // ULTA Beauty). Available in 8 shades the one shown is Glitzy. This gloss is not only a lip-plumping mineral color but it also contains anti-aging resveratrol. I love it because it’s opaque, smooth and not sticky. I get about 2-3 hours of wear but the slanted doe-foot applicator makes reapplying the gloss easy.

Pür Minerals Big Look Mascara ($20.00 // ULTA Beauty). Fortified with Argan Oil this black mascara is nourishing with Pür’s exclusive, clump-resistant wand for smooth, evenly coated lashes. I thought it did a great job at thickening and lifting my lashes. I really loved the end result. But note that the formula is very wet. I had issues with it getting in places that I didn’t want it to (like my hands.. somehow). But it’s SO GOOD I’d still recommend it, and then also advise that you do your eyes before your other makeup. This is also available in waterproof.

Pür Minerals Soul Mattes Palette ($32.00 // ULTA Beauty). Soul Mattes (as you might imagine) is a palette of 8 matte finish eye shadows ranging from nudes to deep berry and everything in between. I admit. When I swatched I wasn’t having the high hopes. The application on the eyes, over a primer, is out of this world. SO smooth with fabulous color. Really easy to blend. Shades include: Sweetheart, Companion, Adore, Better Half, Alter Ego, Sidekick, BFF, Confidante. If you’ve been looking for a mauvey matte palette, you need to buy this asap. This in conjunction with the Secret Crush Palette is going to be my everything this Spring!

Soul Mattes is swatched below dry without primer:

In the look below I’m wearing the Pür Minerals Soul Mattes palette on my eyes over UDPP and Urban Decay Black Velvet 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil and two coats of Pür Minerals Big Look Mascara. For my face makeup I used Pür Minerals Disappearing Ink Concealer to cover imperfections then applied the Pür Minerals 4-In-1 Liquid Veil Spray Foundation with a beautyblender and added a dusting of Pür Minerals 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup SPF 15 over top. The blush is PUR Minerals Flirt Chateau Cheeks Cream Blush and the lip gloss is. Brows are IT Cosmetics Your Brows But Better Brow Power Skinny Pencil and Anastasia Clear Brow Gel.

Pür Minerals Skincare is becoming my jam. It’s got the ingredients of other major, expensive skincare lines but better because it’s cruelty free (the bunny is on the back!) and it’s so affordable. If you’re just looking to try out the skincare I recommend the Skincare Starter Set because it contains a small size of the Miracle Mist (that you’ll want for in your purse (trust) and it’s refillable) as well as a moisturizer, cleanser and mask.

Pür Minerals Miracle Mist Hydrate & Set ($19.00 // ULTA Beauty). If you need to hydrate your skin and also set your makeup this is going to be your new baby. The website really says it best “Containing over 70 essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids, this moisturizing face mist infuses your skin with vital moisture and the active ingredient fulvic acid to help soothe and refresh your face, hair and body and lock down makeup for all-day perfection“. When I tried this it felt very wet and I’m like NO WAY does this work. It does work. More-so than any other type of makeup setting spray that I’ve ever tried. My skin can get so oily (t-zone mostly) and this still held my makeup in place and didn’t make me look or feel like I have an abundance of oil. It sprays out easily and is good for the makeup setting but also at night as a hydrator – use it all over if you want! ULTA always seems to be sold out in store, so that says something right there.

Pür Minerals M.M.C. Anti-Aging Moisture Complex ($38.00 // ULTA Beauty). Besides having beautiful packaging (hi, you look pretty on my vanity) MMC is an age-defying powerhouse that works overnight to nourish, protect and rejuvenate. “As you sleep, advanced plant-based ingredients – such as white birch extract, whey protein, vitamin C and Co Enzyme Q 10 – target the look of lines, wrinkles and environmental damage and combat harmful free radicals for a lasting, age-defying radiance. Other benefits of this age-defying moisturizer include:

I love this because it feels cool on my skin and doesn’t feel oily. I have noticed better overall skin-tone but I haven’t been using it long enough to talk about wrinkles. I do have some of those but things like this are going to be more preventative in nature for me. My eyes are the wrinkliest (always smiling, you know how that goes *wink*) so I think I’ll be trying out some of the Tone Up Total Eye Fitness next.
