Jordana has some fun products for Spring 2015 and I’m excited to share them with you! This is my first opportunity to use anything from this line and I have found quite a few products that are a love!
Jordana Complete Cover 2-in-1 Concealer & Foundation ($4.99 // Jordana). 12 shades are currently available (all are swatched below) and the shade that matched me the best was 02 Classic Beige (for reference I’m MAC NW20 but am neutral). This foundation is touted as “INSTANT COMPLEXION PERFECTION. The Ultimate Multitasker Conceals DarkSpots, Imperfections, Dark Circles and Evens Out Skin Tone For a Flawless Look. Flexible Coverage – Full To Maximum. Long Wearing, Water Resistant & Oil-Free”.
Pros: It applied easily, covers well and is also buildable. I wore this alone to test drive and got about 2 hours before the coverage began to fade out. The next time I wore it I only dusted a setting powder over-top and got to 4 hours. Cons: I noticed that while it did even out my skin tone and covered minor flaws it didn’t conceal the pigmentation on the tops of my cheeks (aka melasma) while my usual foundation always does. This also accented all of the dry parts of my skin. Why is that interesting? Because I didn’t think I had any. My skin is mostly oily, particularly in the t-zone, with my cheeks sometimes being dry if I get lax with my moisturizer. I noticed some dry flakes show up around my nose when I used this. For the price, if you’re not looking to hide serious skin imperfections but still like a full coverage foundation, it’s definitely worth trying out. For me personally to wear this daily I’d have to use extra concealer for the melasma as well as a powder over-top to hold it in place longer.
L-R: 01 Fair Beige, 02 Classic Beige, 03 Golden Beige, 04 Natural Beige, 05 Creamy Natural, 06 Honey Olive, 07 Neutral Olive, 08 Golden Olive, 09 Golden Caramel, 10 Toffee, 11 Golden Toffee, 12 Mahogany
Jordana Color Tint Blush Stick ($2.99 // Jordana). 12 shades are currently available (half are swatched below) and this product is touted as being “Blendable Creamy Cheek Color • Provides a Healthy, Natural Glow • Convenient Pocket Size, Twist Up Application • No Brush Necessary.”
I enjoyed this product, probably even more so because the price is so right. This blush stick is super creamy and easy to tap on with fingers and blend. The color looks heavy at first but will sink in a bit and turn into a nice flush. Start off slowly and add product as needed. I got around 4 hours or so before I noticed that I needed more. When you set it with a powder blush it holds the color in place much better.
L-R: 10 Sunkissed, 12 Golden Sheen, 07 Baby Pink, 08 Hot Hot Hot, 09 Peach Nectar, 11 Rouge Romance
Jordana Modern Matte Lipstick ($2.99 // Jordana). 12 shades are currently available (all are swatched below) and this product is touted as being “a Winning Combination of High Payoff Pigments and Special Ingredients that Comfortably Extend the Wear. Expertly Selected Shades Have an All-Day Wear Without the Typical ‘Dry Lip’ Finish that Feathers and Cracks. Talc and Paraben-Free“.
For an extremely inexpensive matte drugstore lipstick I’m majorly impressed with these. They’re smooth to apply, nicely pigmented and not drying in the least. I didn’t even feel like I needed to exfoliate before wearing them (because I didn’t lol shhh) and they got the same wear time of matte lipsticks that are 10 times their amount (around 4 hours, the deeper shades left a bit of a stain and stuck around longer because of that). You probably saw me mention these originally in this post.
L-R: 01 Matte Bare, 02 Matte Blush, 03 Matte Frappuccino, 04 Matte Tease, 05 Matte Classy, 06 Matte Adorable, 07 Matte Popular, 08 Matte It Girl, 09 Matte Dare, 10 Matte Pretty, 11 Matte Calliente, 12 Matte Style
Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain ($2.99 // Jordana). 10 shades are currently available and 2 are swatched below in 09 Gorgeous Peony and 10 Fresh Fig. These are touted as being “moisturizing with a light-weight stain, applying with a glossy finish then transforming to the perfect flush of color, long-lasting“. I found them to apply easily with good color pay-off and lasting around 2 hours or so. I love to layer Fresh Fig over Matte Bare Modern Matte Lipstick – it’s the most gorgeous berry mauve you’ll ever see in your life.
Jordana Lip Out Loud Super Shiny Gloss ($1.99 // Jordana). 12 shades are currently available and 1 is swatched below in BRB. These are basically just touted as having a soft applicator and fabulous shine… no other claims. BRB had decent opacity and tasted yummy… like melons. Very easy to apply and nice to wear – not sticky at all!
Jordana Easyliner for Lips ($2.49 // Jordana). 13 shades are currently available and 2 are swatched below in Pink Love and Rose Crush. These are touted as having a “Silky Smooth Soft Glide Formula, Excellent Color Coverage; Rich Semi-Matte Finish, All-Day Wear“. I didn’t think they applied easily but there was good pigment and coverage. Wear was several hours sans eating and drinking. I tend to like a bit smoother of a liner because I’m lazy and don’t like to take my time but for the price these are going to give you everything you desire in a lip liner.
Jordana Easyliner for Eyes ($2.49 // Jordana). 17 shades are currently available and 4 are swatched below in Tantalizing Teal, Khaki, Blackest Blue and Jet Black. These liners are touted as having a “Silky Smooth Soft Glide Formula; Doesn’t Tug Delicate Eye Area. Excellent Color Coverage & All-Day Wear“. Definitely pigmented, definitely smooth and easy to wear. These lasted all day long on my lids but my big test for liners such as this are on my waterline. Rarely do any liners stand the test of time as a waterliner (even those that are actually called waterliners). Even after 6 hours I only had a bit of fading on the waterline when I used any of the shades sent to me. Color me impressed. I needs them all.
Jordana Fabubrow Eyebrow Pencil ($2.99 // Jordana). 6 shades are currently available and 3 are swatched below in Soft Brown, Light Taupe and Midnight Brown. These pencils are touted as having a “creamy, long-lasting formula“. None of the shades matched up with me very well, Soft Brown was probably the closest but it pulled very red when applied. I just wore them around the house which doesn’t offer much activity, but it did apply easily and stay on well. It was easy to wipe off in the evening.
What are your faves from Jordana? I definitely need to pick up more of those eye liners!
In addition to purchasing these products on the Jordana website you can also find them at Walgreens, KMart, Duane Reade and Save Mart Supermarkets.

The Jordana matte lipsticks are my go-to lipsticks these days along with the Fresh Fig lip balm stain. And I adore the blush. I definitely had better luck than you with the foundation and blushes in terms of longevity. My super-dry skin must work with the formula somehow. And I love the lipliners too. Actually, I’ve been super-impressed with the entire spring lineup especially for the price!

So many colors!
I really like that teal eyeliner. There’s just something about that bright color that looks terrible on my eyes but I love it anyway <3

I love to add a pop of teal to a neutral look. It’s impressive the liner stayed on so long. It was unexpected but it made me so happyyyyy lol
