Maybe you remember the Laura Mercier Canard Crème Eye Liner ($23.00 // Sephora) from Summer 2013 (reviewed here) but maybe you don’t remember just how beautiful it is. This is one of my favorite liners for Spring and Summer and I’m so glad it’s being featured again with the Spring 2015 Collection!
Canard is described as an Emerald but I feel that it’s definitely got a lot of blue in there, making me say it’s more of a vibrant, deep teal. This liner applied easily and set quickly to a flat color. It won’t budge all day long until you remove it with eye makeup remover. Be sure to apply an eye shadow or some sort of base before putting this on your eye, it’s a stainer!

I love Erika’s description of Mallard teal, after all, canard means ‘duck’. I never would have made that connection on my own. What a gorgeous color, too bad it stains! I’ve never heard of an eyeliner doing that before!

Laura Mercier is one of my favorites, but I have yet to try out a product like this from her! I am a huge fan of adding a pop of color to liner during spring and summer, and this shade is perfect for that. I love the combo of the NARS shadow with this particular liner, it looks stunning.
