The MAC A Novel Romance Collection appeared back in the Fall but you can still get your hands on some of the best products! One of my faves was the Eye Shadow x 4 in A Passionate Quest, which I did a photo tutorial of here.
A Passionate Quest Eye Shadow Quad ($40.00) contains four eye shadows in The Wrong Man (light cool dusty pink, satin); Serenade (midtone orchid pink w/ blue duochrome pearl, veluxe pearl); Brazenly (rich eggplant, veluxe pearl) and Stay Sultry (deep violet navy, satin). I really loved how well these purples tones wore together even though at first glance you might not think so. Stay Sultry was perfect for a liner and all of the shades blended well. A fabulous quad all around!
In the eye look below I began by using UDPP as my base. Serenade is on the lid, Brazenly is in the crease and blended up, The Wrong Man is used at the inner corners and to highlight. Stay Sultry is smudged along the top and bottom lash line to be used as an eyeliner. For mascara I layered Milani Total Lash Cover and Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes.
